self care or inner strength
what are you guys's thoughts on inner strength and do you think it will be a replacement for self care?
i use self care, quick and quiet, head on and iron will and i'm considering replacing self care with inner strength but do you guys think it's as good as self care

At red ranks Inner Strength looks to be making it into the meta. Seeing lots of people running it.
Most didn't run self care before though as being injured doesn't really matter much. They're probably willing to run Inner Strength just because the cost isn't high and they aren't wasting time like self care does.

Self care is trash anyways, plus if you have head on too, that's already a good reason to change.

Another good point with this. With how much more popular Inner Strength has become I am seeing LOTS of Head Ons now to really good success. Combine it with a DS and it's just nasty.

Inner Care is a far, far better perk than Self Care.
But Self Care will always remain meta because lots of potato survivors don't know how to find totems, and even those that do prefer to use the crappier perk out of habit. This is good, because if too many people use Inner Strength it becomes a bad perk (there are only so many totems to go around).

Self Care isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Yes, you're at it for 32 seconds, but you only save 16 second having a teammate do it for yourself. In terms of generator time lost it's....
- Self Care : 32 seconds of potential generator time lost on one player who likely didn't need to find a teammate and your health kits last longer.
- Without Self Care: 16 seconds of potential generator time lost on TWO players for the same total of 32 seconds of potential generator time lost. Additionally, you have to spend time finding a teammate to heal you.
Now compare that to Inner Strength
- It takes 14 seconds to cleanse a totem, and 8 seconds to heal in a locker at level 3 for a total of 22 seconds of non-generator time to heal. Travel time is a non-issue for most people who like the perk as they are likely going to cleanse totems anyway and lockers are easy to find.
Frankly, I find Inner Strength and Self-Care to be well balanced between each other.

Pharmacy>>Inner Strength>>>>Self-Care
Both inner strength and self care are very selfish and situational perks. They do nothing to help your team
Pharmacy guarantees a med-kit when you first open a chest, makes you search chests quicker and quieter I believe, said med-kit lets you heal yourself and others, and doesn't take as long as it does to self-care or use Inner Strength
Even when you use the first med-kit the faster searching from pharmacy will let you get more kits/items faster
Pharmacy without a doubt is the superior healing perk
