Killer perk idea: Capricious energies
Everytime the survivor cleanse 3/2/1 dull totem they will scream sending an audio/ visual notification and revealing their aura to the killer for 3s/4s/5s and become exhausted for 15s.
Once the exit gates are powered the perk is deactivated.
Note: This is aimed at reducing the incentive to cleanse dull totems on the map when trying to go for hex totems. This would allow "Thrill of the hunt" to work with higher/max reduction speed.

It's too weak right now. Why run this when at best I'll only see 2 survivor auras per game and it'll only be for 3 seconds. This doesn't help thrill of the hunt either since it will only show the aura after 2 totems have been cleansed.

Took both your opinions into consideration and modified it a bit. Also it is a perk now.

This perk mixed with NOED and Hex:TOTH is basically godly. The main counter to NOED is to do bones. This perk's aura revealing and exhaustion mixed with TOTH's Slower speed and knowing how many totems are left makes NOED a guaranteed pop even at high - mid (1-10) ranks.

NOED activates after gens are done. There is no way to change how this affects NOED without completely changing the perk.

It turns off once the gate are powered so basically deactivated once noed activate.
It wasn't that hard to work around.

Why would a hex totem turn off though your sacrificing a slot for a perk that has a good chance of being cleansed

But once Hex:NOED is out there, there is barely any stopping it. Along with TOTH, there is still no way to get noed cleansed meaning no matter when you turn it off it will still help NOED. Also yeah turning a hex perk off is bad as it's main counter is turning it off by survivors.

Calm Spirit and Distortion have no affect on it. Calm Spirit affects Crows. Distortion is Aura Reading. As a matter of fact no perks would fix this as of update 3.2.1 This isn't fair for reasons already described in my other posts and that there is barely any counters to the TOTH,NOED and Cap Energy combo.

I'm talking about the perk here. If you want to complain about NOED and TOTH go make a post about that.
I meant that "Calm spirit" would prevent the screaming and "Distortion" the aura reading cause by the perk I'm suggesting.

Calm Spirit does nothing against the screaming unless they re worked it and your perk has no aura reading capabilities. Also, I'm not complaining about NOED and TOTH, I'm saying that TOTH NOED and this perk together would be the indefinite meta maybe plus Barbeque.

Just realised that calm spirit does stop screaming but the notification would still be sent meaning that it's worthless.

Lbh how many times do you notice the notification when ppl are cleansing your totems and you run ToTH ?
Also, Distortion would prevent the notification like it does for the crows.

Alot, actually. TOTH has saved multiple games where Ruin is in jeopardy. Distortion does not stop notifications. It stops AURA readings. If it was changed to then yeah but currently it does not affect the perk. Even so, using perks to band-aid other perks isn't a good way to make a perk. It's like if someone made an anti-NOED perk. EVERYONE would use it. It would be instant meta as it counters a good perk.

It also stop notification 100% try it out with a friend. I agree it isn't exactly an "aura reading" but apparently the game still include it.
