Nerf the Hillbilly?

Udyr
Udyr Member Posts: 12

I think its SO ridiculous that the hillbilly has unlimited sprint. I think he should have to go into lockers and get gasoline cans, so he can have a certain duration of sprint, instead of the overpowered marathon billy.

He's the only strong killer console has (Nurse and Huntress are much harder on console) that if you nerfed him we would only have the Doc and Myers left.
So no, nerf something else instead, how about Nurse? :P

i'm a hillbilly main and i have no salt or tears to shed. i think all killers should be nurse tier but thats just my opinion.... nerf billy if you want. i don't really care. bottom line is this - i play billy because i like him. i like his backstory and i want to see him succeed. i want to unlock his little outfits and i want to develop a unique playstyle that separates me from the pack. you can nerf him so far down hes asking the wraith for permission to speak. i'll still pick billy. hes fun. if i wanted actual results, i'd pick the nurse....

Nurse I think is nearly unplayable on console right now. This may be because of the framerate issues though.

Or maybe, your idea is just plain stupid, unwarranted and unnecessary.

Clearly I'm a Doctor main, so don't try to pull that crap of "oh you're just a salty Hillbilly main" with me.

I'd rather he as well as other killers get a buff so the Nurse isn't the only killer that doesn't have to rely on survivor mistakes to win.

I don't know whether the Billy needs a buff to get him to Nurse status, he's pretty good right now. But absolutely all other killers need buffs to get them to at least his level of power.

    "cough cough" Leatherface buffs "cough"

I'm by no means the best Billy out there but it is not very hard to dodge that chainsaw. Not to mention after a Billy attempts to hit you with it 3-5 times you would most likely have gotten hit with that mallet long ago so its all worked out the same. He by no means needs a nerf simply because you have difficulty with him. Have you tried to play Billy against mid/high tier players?

I'm a survivor main, Billy is not op.

I think these posts are a result of a bad ranking system that has a lot of skilled, depipping players crushing less skilled players, which makes thier powers seem OP.  I am learning survivor and still suck at juking, so understand the sentiment.  If I played survs like me as a killer, I'd feel like a god.

But every 4th match or so I get a killer that actually belongs in the high ranks with me and doesnt have all the meta perks for thier build and then suddenly my sorry surv skills wreck the poor baby killer with a chase that lasts 2 minutes and involves a lot of chainsawing walls, blinking past my badly executed 180s, or whiffing M1 before while taking a pallet to the face.

My point is, fix the ranking system so players are actually against other similarly skilled players, or at least players with hours played in the same order of magnitude, and we'll stop seeing so many of these "xxxxx is OP" posts.

As everyone else has said, DODGE HIS CHAINSAW!!! Unless he's running Thompson's Moonshine, his turning radius is horrible. And before you say I'm a salty Hillbilly main, I probably fall into the small group of people who prefer Leatherface. I've only played Billy twice, both times on Haddonfield. You know, one of those maps where he is at his worst (so many obstacles).

He's fine as is. The unlimited sprint ability really only shines with the right combination of add-ons, and maps. He's really the only killer who's able to put full map pressure on a team of survivors.

Even then, he can still only chase 1 person at a time, so if a group simply spreads out, he still suffers the same "weakness" as every other killer.

Nurss and billy are overpowered, but killers in general are weak. OP-Weak=Balanced. If they get a nerf, DO IT AFTER THE GAME IS AT LEAST SOMEWHAT BALANCED

Idk how Billy and nurse are op, survivors are supposed to feel threatened. Most killers don't do it for me, only clown and nurse because they stop loops and can stop a circut when played right. Doc and huntress overrated in terms of loop stopping because the doc will not stop a loop against a good survivor who knows he slows down in treatment mode and when his couple of seconds is up so he can vault or pallet. Huntress is nice but only because some survivors run to the window or pallet out of reflex, smart survivors know the 5 Ds of dodgeball and just won't get hit by those hatchets that she secures many hits. Clown and nurse can choose preemptively and independently without the survivor choosing a path, a way to block them during a chase. All killers deserve maybe some power or add on that allows them to be proactive. Also #buffsweaterboy

i would also like to add that when i picked billy, he was the weakest killer and wraith was OP.... nothing has changed for billy since then. only ppls attitude towards him....

Yeah, because looking into lockers every 15s is so damn fun, right ?
We'll get survivors to have to look into lockers everytime they want to use sprint burst, see how fun it makes the game for you.

It's getting harder and harder to tell the real whine threads from the bait.

Survivors shouldn't be allowed unlimited tbagging! Everyone knows that you can barely move after squats, so they should be slowed by 5% for 3 matches after hitting 50 squats!

No survivors knew how to loop or infinite. Machine gun build existed. Shadow born made your field of view almost twice the size. The end.

With no toxicity unless he is running the drift king build eventually he will have to stop because of the way the maps are made.

Then the nurse came out, and got nerfed, moris changed, then god king freddy came out. And peasants had an over 80% dc rate, so they buffed freddy in his first week so no one will teabag him at the exit gates.

Not gonna lie, the dc rate for freddy was ridiculous.
Game start: 1 person dc when you find them, the other 2 dc , last one dc cause he's last. The meta hasn't been balanced to give the power role back to killers, wraith was op cause of the surprise hits and insta mori. The survivore learned to loop, and got urban evasion and d strike.

Honey, where are my pallet loops?
