Is the Pig Worth It?
I have been wanting to get her since I am a bit of a fan of the movies, but I'm not sure if I should buy her since not many play her. I like her kit of being able to slow the game down a bit with her traps and hiding her terror radius and light. Also is she viable in purple ranks since that is where I usually end up.

Out of all the licensed Killers, Pig is one of the more useful ones. She is not that bad as some people claim. Not Nurse, Spirit or even Billy-Level, but still decent.
Just dont expect Head-Pops, and rather expect Traps to waste the Survivors time and slow the game down. If you have fun with M1-Killers in general, you should have fun with Pig as well.

shes a lot of fun. im a pig main, and thats because i have the most fun with her. but yeah, dont expect her bear traps to get kills, its more to slow the game down. a good tip, when you get close to a gen you think survivors are working on, crouch and get close enough to hear the gen. if you hear them working, ambush. if not, kick the gen if it has been worked on, or just move on if it wasnt worked on.

Strategic use of your traps can make all the difference, you can trap people in the match if you place them at the right moment.
Just remember that traps aren't lethal when placed after the last Generator is completed. whether that breaks The Pig for you or not depends on if you love the rest of her.
Viability is alright, obviously not Nurse tier, but has a power far more useful than Clown

IMO she is weak but fun. If you like Saw, just keep in mind that the Reverse Bear Traps will not kill someone very often, and you're good to go.

The SAW chapter is what brought me to the game, I mained her and sacrificed my first 500 survivors.. with just Amanda... shes a lot of fun and you can learn some sneaky tactics with her, along with some fancy tactics with her ambush.... for purple ranks, every killer starts seeing more competition and for Amanda you will need to help her slow the game down with perks.... she is in need of TLC from the devs atm but I'd still say the DLC is worth the money. :)

oh, also very important, dont save your traps for the very end. they no longer go off when trying to go to the exit, so putting a trap on them after the last gen does nothing but give them a nice hat

Don't get me wrong she's definitely not useless and she could be pretty damn strong in the right conditions but I wouldn't call her one of the most useful of the licensed Killers
Myers and Ghostface are debatable better than her
Rework Freddy is better than her
Demi Logorgon is better and with the new update she's getting even better
Bubba yeah definitely consider how better than Bubba
She is definitely not as weak as people claim her to be but when compared to other licensed Killers would definitely not say she's in the top echelon

Surveillance and make your choice are very nice perks. She’s decent but there are more fun killers to play, that being said she isn’t well worth the investment

I was gonna pop in as a resident Pig main, but looks like @TAG got here before me :P But yah, Piggy is insanely fun if not frustrating at times, but that applies to all killers, she has one of the best snowballs and slug games of all killers, along with a great anti loop and stealth; and even if her addons arent amazing you can stull change her up just enough to either get kills ith RBTs or go ability only and what not. Also she makes cute noises when hit by pallets and is smol.
Edit: her perks are great too, MYC is the best example of this but surveillence has great synergy with others or can be used as a solo if you know what you're doing and Hangmans Trick is very situational but is very good in those situations, and has a neat secondary effect that will prevent hook dead zones.

Highly Subjective.
Freddy and Myers are better than Pig, but I would say that Demogorgon, Ghostface(mostly because of his wonky mechanic) and Leatherface are worse.
Would say: Freddy>Myers>Pig>Ghostface>Demogorgon>Leatherface (of course the Gap between Ghostface and Demogorgon is smaller than Demogorgons Gap to Leatherface).
But yeah, I can get other opinions on that.
