DISABLE TEMPORAL ANTIALIASING PLEASE!
You wanted to combat pixelation for those on lower end hardware that can only play on low with a lowered resolution scale, I get it. But in the process you've made everything muddy. The proper approach should be to allow the user to modify if they want AA in the graphics setting. You already can do this to a certain extent by modifying the gameusersettings.ini... OH WAIT YOU CAN'T DO THAT ANYMORE!
You now have NO CHOICE but to play with the muddy filter that is the awful temporal AA.
For those that don't know what antialiasing is, it's a method to lessen the "jagginess" of an image, or in our case a series of images called frames for our game. There are different types of AA, some doing a fantastic job while requiring a bit more power and those doing an awful job while requiring little power, we're looking at the ladder.
I'll show some examples of before and after from an image I took a while back trying to get an option to at least remove these things.
Before and after 3.2.1:
Image this was referenced off of (Proper lighting side by side from 1 year ago):
Please open the image in a new tab and take a closer look. A lot of the reflections and hard lighting are completely gone or toned down to such a degree it becomes almost unnoticeable. Don't forget, YOU CAN'T DEACTIVATE IT THROUGH THE FILES! I tried and have only been met with the game rewriting the value back to zero in the gameusersettings.ini file.
This is NOT what we wanted. Rather than slap a band-aid (would've said flex tape but at least flex tape is good at patching things) on the pixelation caused by low resolution monitors paired with a lowered resolution scaling in the game settings. Please revert this change immediately, and please work on a proper graphics setting tab with all that is available in the gameusersettings.ini file. It shouldn't be that hard. A few years ago their reasoning was to not give an unfair advantage, but come on now. We still have the ability to uncap our fps and change all the graphical settings (except now AA!) to whatever we pleased. Oh yeah, would be great if we had the option within the game to uncap fps. Seems kind of dumb to not be able to in 2019.
I sound very confrontational here, and I mean no disrespect, but this is a step in the opposite direction. I thought it was necessary to get the point across. Love you devs for creating a game I stuck with for over 3 years.
TLDR: AA is now enabled on low settings and can't be deactivated through any means. It makes everything on screen look muddy and ugly.
EDIT: Seems other people on the forums have been able to deactivate it by adding more lines to the config. I'll link one, though I don't know if it works or not.

DbD is a complete joke in terms of graphic customisation. I mean, having AA and Vsync enabled by default in a game with skillchecks? With the only way to disable it is by modifying some files? Lmao, who thought this is a good idea and why is it still the same for 3 years?
I'm telling you, BHVR doesn't care about quality and customer friendly options. It's really embarrassing when you compare this with some very old games who had more options for customers.
