Pustula petals
If you remember back in halloween 2018 there was the Hallowed blight event, you could use the pustula petal offerings to spawn cankerous hooks and pustula flowers.
Its description got updated, it now creates cankerous hooks AND gens, instead of the flowers. We get hallowed blight again this year!

And to mention no one did gens since they were all searching for those flowers, horrible time to play solo survivor.

Horrible? Not at all, who cares about gens when you can harvest spook juice?

Horrible, especially when the killer would see you so you make a run for it and loop the killer for 10 mins and by the time you get hooked no gens done and other survivors are making use of your offering for spawning flowers and sucking them dry leaving you to die on first hook or using all of them while you are being chased and hooked.You either end up dead on first hook or dead on 2nd hook with no flowers to use. Offering wasted :(

This explains it all, especially when you are the only one to burn the offering and get chased etc and all the plants get drained.
