Question about new matchmaking
Hey guys, I’m like about rank 10 at the moment but that’s because I don’t really play DBD like that.
So I have a bf irl who’s like rank 20 because he never ever touches the game.
I was wondering if he would go into rank 10 matches with me? Because whenever we go into SWF it takes a long time to find a match, and when we do find a match the killer usually lobby dodges.

You say Rank 10 at the moment like it’s a bad thing to be a Rank 10.
That being said, yes he would go into rank 10 matches with you if you’re the highest ranking person in the lobby. Sucks for him.

Ya. The issue you describe makes sense. PS4 does have longer wait times, and they "fixed" matchmaking in the sense of closely aligning skill level from Killer to Survivors. Also, it depends on the time of day for PS4 users. 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. are prime hours to get faster games.

let him play to himself for some days, he will get rank 14-15, learn some basic. After that he will be little bit more prepared (with some perks and adons) for killers around your 10 rank.

I can find games more quickly as a solo player but finding games with other people takes me a lot longer.

btw games around 20 rank are kinda funny, dont steal that solo experience by force him to play with you from start
