Couldnt play regularily recently, so im not too sure about it.

    This is mostly theory,

but the devs maybe gave survivors more potential than might be balanced. The game puts a single person vs 4, thus in the greater picture, a chase shouldnt be a fair 1on1 as the killer is actially fighting the other 3 a the same time.

While somewhat true for newer/bad survivors, the potential is there for 4 good survivors to "nearly" go 1on1 with the killer EACH.

Just because most people are potatoes doesnt meant its impossible.

I think thats actually that kinda logic the nurse is getting "adjusted" for.

So the game kinda is survivor sided when survivors get adjusted for potatoes while killers get nerfed because of nurse-pros.

    Remember, mostly theory.

My opinion not based on any sort of fact, just my observations playing the game, and watching others.

Solo survivors vs killer = Completely and utterly Killer sided. They have no communication. No coordination. They either allow someone on hook to die, or go to tier 2 quite often, or simply waste time going for the rescue when someone else has it. When someone is in a chase no one even knows unless it's the obsession, or someone gets hit. And if they hear the heart beat during this chase survivors or more likely to hide than work on gens. Lots of factors lead to this being killer sided. I believe BHVR at one point said that solo survivors lived like 10-20% of the time or something? It was a while back but it was a pathetically low number even if it included the entire spectrum.

Basic Full SWF = Even. These are the SWF that are grouped up, looking to play and survive and mess around. Maybe they might be a little toxic, but they are just having fun together. They are not super optimal, probably are overly altruistic. Don't have the coordination to just wreck a killer. But if the killer isn't on their toes they got a decent chance of escaping.

Full Optimal Try Hard Survivors = Survivor sided. If they go in with 4 insta heals, or perhaps two insta heals and strong tool boxes. Are super coordinated, know how to loop, and are very good at mind games. They will more than likely win without you playing a top tier.

Killer Try Hard = I personally believe this tops the Try Hard Survivors. This is something like Ebony Mori, Very rare/Ultra Rare add-ons, top tier perks. You can probably win against survivors with even a lower tier killer, but you can go over bored if you pick Nurse.

And that's my thoughts on killers vs survivors. Killers to me ultimately have the upper hand at the highest levels when they stick their best add-ons/ebony moris on, but most of the time it's the Basic SWF that they are facing. Which imo makes the majority of the games pretty even.

I tend to concur with this assessment, BloodyNights.

When I actually show up on the leaderboard, I am usually 1st in Survivors Saved (36k+) and around 5th in Escapes. (9400ish).

Here are my stats from last season at R1 :

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fmwuhlmag8s32myoqtKQvCxneF5WNWhRvE4bz6pWfRQ

    I only escaped 22/50 games.

Killers 4K’ed in 21/50 games or 42% of the time.

So if you want to base it off of that site where it says I am one of the top survivor players, then the game would be Killer favored with the stats I provided.

    Nice bait.

I don't know what the purpose of the screenshots are (too lazy to use words to make an argument I guess?), but if you're pointing out the list of rank 1 survivors, there has to be more survivors in order for this game to function decently. Also, more than half the killers I go up against play scummy and camp and tunnel which doesn't give them a pip so they're (probably intentionally) not ranking up.

I play both survivor and killer equally and have 1000+ hours on the game. I'd say the game can be toxic on both sides. The main issue with survivors is they pallet loop constantly, but killers can also be toxic when it comes to tunneling and camping the hook.

Even with pallet loopers, especially good ones, I can still get 2-4 sacrifices on average a round which isn't bad at all. I still get more blood points than I do when I play survivor, so I don't know why we saying survivors are favored. I think being survivor is a lot harder than playing killer. Playing killer is frustrating and raging, playing survivor is difficult and technical.

I think we just all need to realize its how people play the game and get over it.
