Queue times

What happened to survivor queue times? A couple days ago they were really fast, but once the hotfix rolled out they’ve gotten much worse- its taking around 5 mins for each queue (and they used to be instant.)

Btw, im on ps4.

    Im getting the same expirience except im a strictly only killer player. Seems like some people jump ship to play killers for maximum BP gain. Also i know that a few other games have been dropping new patches so there may be less overall people playing.

    I was playing earlier today and ques seemed longer, i assumed it was because school/work hours. But it doesnt seem like much has changed even at night. Ques arent as long but they feel about the same.

    Least those are some of my speculations

    (Also ps4)

    @InfinyMage I don't know what platform you guys are on, but during the day today on PC my killer queue times ranged from 15-20 minutes, while survivor was near instant. So, I spent 90 minutes on survivor and farmed BP.

    For PC, Steamcharts show that DbD peaks during the normal work/school hours. From 11am until around 3pm it was around 45k players. Now at 8pm EST, it's sitting at just over 26k.

    The day time peaks for DbD on PC always go that way, though. For some reason it peaks when we'd expect people to be at work or school, and dips by around 10k or so by prime time evening gaming time. Normal numbers would be around 25k peak in the afternoon, and down to 14k-17k at prime time evening. It's weird.

    @Kilmeran we both seem to play on ps4. For me i seem to find the quickest games around 11pm or in the am hours. Which is to say also odd since i would think the usual prime time hours are ideal. Maybe PC peaks since some have access to the game at work or school? We on consoles would need a sick(cool) job to get away with having a TV and our Consoles out to game. Might be an extreme case but its something that comes to mind. Lol

    @InfinyMage That's another Interesting point to raise about queue times. Speaking of non-Bloodhunt play, during the day my killer queues average 10 minutes with the higher population. But in the evenings with less population, my killer queues are like 2-4 minutes.

    I imagine that on PC a lot of killer players play in the afternoon or something.

    I say non-Bloodhunt play, because Bloodhunt killer queues suck all the time.

    @Kilmeran

    I would also think that too but i guess not. Times zones come into play i guess but I never like to get my head rolling behind all that. Too much math. Waiting till later during the hours i stated to see if ques seem to take less time.

    Que times have been garbage since the "hotfix" on PS4. The more that gets "patched" the worse it seems to get.
