I would play all the time with double BP.

Just saying. I usually don't play every day, and when I do play, it's seldom for more than two or three games at a time. Mostly because I'm capable of doing basic math and realize just how many games I'd have to play in order to unlock anything of value, so I stick to playing the game "for the experience".

I tend to play more when there's something in the Shrine that I want, and my playtime has quadrupled under Blood Hunt. I can play a game and get a few bloodweb levels out of it for my baby killers, as opposed to just having enough to get through maybe half a dozen nodes.

If this kept up, I could have multiple killers at a functional level. I could even kit out a survivor or two, maybe. I don't see what the downside of it would be.

The downside is the game being flooded with moris and high rarity items like keys and insta heals. They used to do triple blood points, but they had to stop because it opened the floodgates on the blood point "economy." It follows the same rules of a real economy as well. To balance out the increased blood points, they'd have to increase the costs of high rarity items so there wouldn't a large amount of them, leading to it costing the same and nullifying having more blood points. It's a balance thing.

While the flood of items is a good reason. I always thought that the primary reason people came back for these were to gain perks on their favorite killers or level up the new ones with ease.

The natural grind is still pretty absurd even after it's adjustment.

That's certainly what I'm doing. I'm playing my butt off right now just so I can get all my killers to level 15. It doesn't sound like much but there's a lot of them. That's hundreds of thousands of blood points just to get all their perk slots unlocked.

That's not even unlocking their teachables or optimizing them in any way. Hundreds of thousands of BP just to get them functional, so they can have a full kit.

I started playing the game during a Double Bloodpoints event and did not find it much of a grind for perks and items at first, but once the event passed, I realized hard and fast that acquiring perks is much more of a slog than I had originally known. Now that I know how valuable these events are, I love turning around for them to try and lessen the grind I normally experience for perks. I’m a Survivor main, too, so I can’t even imagine what the grind is like for Killers who enjoy playing multiple different characters.

The grind definitely needs an adjustment, in my opinion.

I only really play during double BP events now. I played on console originally and recently switched to PC it sucked having to start over I had almost all my killers lvl 50.

On the plus side I know now not to unlock the ######### teachables so the grind isn't that bad getting the perks you want and now you get more perk options after hitting level 50 so its not that bad.

It depends on who I'm playing and how it's going. I'd say around 30k for a decent match on a non-farming killer like Myers, 50-60k on a decent match with someone more suited to BP grinding like Doctor.

If I'm playing a killer that's low level, doesn't have good perks unlocked, or that I'm unfamiliar with, it hovers more in the 15k-20k range. And, you know, the inevitable defeats that come with it.

I don't actually like playing Doctor much, I got him to 35 just for M&A on Myers, and I'm using him now for max BP during the hunt. I've pulled in around 100k a couple times, usually somewhere around 80k-90k during the event so far.

Honestly, I wouldn't have an issue with the BP totals if there weren't so many killers to level up.

Yeah, I think it's one of the snowball things. It hits newer players harder because we don't have a well-oiled farming machine set up and because, yeah, it's easier to get stuff done at level 50 than at level 5.

I've been running into Abit of a loop on my Freddy with puddings and BPS. I'll use one, and between that and BBQ, get about 90k per game WITHOUT an event... With those points, I typically find another streamer or pudding. Since the event is only gonna be giving me another 30k or so... I don't sweat it.

I'm not sure I have any stock of those... Doc's my most advanced killer, I'll go rooting through his offerings in the morning when I get back to the grind.
