The Pennywise starts the trial with five balloons. Balloon count can be adjusted depending on various addons equipped. Pennywise can place these balloons in certain areas of the map where Survivors are most likely to counter them. Unaware of a Balloons presence will start a timer on when the Balloon will pop. Survivors who pop balloons still unaware of their presence will notify Pennywise of their location.
Survivors have the option of popping Balloons. Popping Balloons delivers a notification as well as a few seconds of heart beat reveal. Certain addons may also cause the exposed Status Effect if a balloon is popped by a Survivor.
