We as a community should decide if we want this game to play like hide & seek, or tag?

Killers need buffed!!! Not news right?
But as we start to buff killers we need to let BVHR know what kind of game we want this to be.

IMO killers need help with chase but many of the perk buffs deal with killers abilities to find survivors. So if you force survivors out of hiding and then make chase unwinnable, survivors are going to find this game too hard and too boring for anyone but the ones who have mastered looping and that's about the worst type of survivor play we could promote.

I think we should focus on keeping the hide aspect of this game alive. Find a survivor and sure 80% of the time you should win that chase, if it goes for any real amount of time, but to have things continuously tell killers where survivors are and what survivors are doing is the wrong type of power to give.

We need to keep balance in mind while still leaving a fun and exciting way for survivors to play. Our goals do not need to be so conflicting. Yes, our ultimate goals massively conflict but how we achieve our goal doesn't need to be. Killer goal? To find. Survivors? To hide.

Right now the rank, the score, the perks, all of it forces us to play tag and in tag one or the other is always going to feel like they were cheated.

Hide and go seek tag? Featuring BBQ and some chili bombs?

A bit of both. Survivors should have the option to be stealthy, but it shouldn't be so strong that the killer is unable to ever find them. I like to play stealthy, but for the game as a whole, it's probably better to lean to the tag side.

Have to consider that the killer can only really chase one person at a time, so yea the perks letting killer see survivors will be useful but it will also replace other strong perks and only help killer initiate chase against a single survivor. Not really that strong.
