Got back to red ranks as killer and.........

It is just how I remembered it 3 months ago.

Survivor's dc'ing (killing themselves on hook now that dedicated servers are live) when they don't get there way. Most survivors acting entitled and complaining about certain add ons. Saying I'm getting carried by my main. I main Freddy, and survivors complain so much about him, no matter what build I use. Slowdown Freddy= "Game is boring and dull!" Surprise Freddy="No fair you get easy first hits!" Endgame Freddy= "Got carried by perks!!"

Best part about red ranks is when you find that rare species of people that just say gg and move on. If you are one of those people. Take this cookie > 🍪

I never understood this mindset from Survivors. Whenever I realize it's a Killer with a "sweaty" build, my reaction is to knuckle down and use all the tools as my disposal to make them glad that brought that build.

Of course, it's really hard to accomplish this when the immediate reaction of the majority of other Survivors is: "REEEEEEEEEEEEE! *Gong*"

I also used to get complaints and threats all the time until i switched to Demogorgon.

I guess because he's new and everyone wants to face him but get spirits instead?

But yeah the DbD community has a problem with people blaming/worrying about what others are doing.

It seems to be getting better over time but very very slowly.

I've started maining demogorgon, and I think it's just because he's by far one of the most fun killers to play against. His shred makes chases intense but not too short, and his portals incentive map pressure and switching targets.

Killers can be really toxic and entitled to, lots of killers DC when ruin blows up before they get a hook or when they get looped around a bit or if someone goes sabo. And if they don't DC they punish the survivor who dares make fun of him by face camping him on hook.

I don't want to hear about complaints on DC'ing survivors when killers act just as immaturely.

Especially if you're just running Nurse, Spirit or Billy.

I prestiged ghostface and got crap perks until recently and people would still dc, especially if they get gen yoinked or stalked to exposed first. I was running T1nurses, T2 Tremors, T2 I’m all ears, and f*cking T1 lullaby until I finally ran across corrupt intervention. I just now on the 55th bloodweb found ruin and bbq and thankfully got both. What’s aggravating is I have been playing for months and have yet to dc once. I suck it up and take the loss, but to dc on the first down just baffles me, especially against a killer without ruin.

This is just my post expressing my experience in red ranks as killer. I know killers can be toxic as well, although in my personal experience killers rarely dc. Besides, in a trial it is 4 times likely that you come across a toxic survivor, higher odds than one killer.

If console had post-game chat then I’d like eat my cookie!

I'm glad console doesn't have post-game chat, if for no other reason than typing a message on console is a pain in the butt lol.

I’ve gotten into hour long conversations with people, usually hate-mail but still.😂

    I’d like post-game chat tbh.

My only main qualm with red rank survivors is their use of broken loops.

When survivors have 2000+ hours invested in the game, they tend to know how to abuse maps really well. Those survivors are not fun to play against because all they are doing is taking advantage of bad map design.

Keep in mind, I'm not trying to detract from their looping skills. Some of those survivors are genuinely good, as such, they should be hard to catch. But when you add their looping skills to really strong loops, that's when all the fun immediately vanishes.

Yeah, when they send me messages, I open it up on my laptop so I can type out my replies and not go insane. I've had some long conversations. I've made friends with people who originally sent me salt lol.

Almost every single message I've gotten, for whatever reason, has been from a survivor. Killers almost never message me, and the few I've gotten have never been salt: it's either a pre-game request to farm or a post-game "gg" or something, never toxicity. Whether I play killer or survivor, it's usually only survivors who send messages.

Only message I’ve gotten from a killer was him laughing about my meme build (OoO, No Mither, pebble and autodidact).

Campering Tunneling Slugging and Bodyblocking are bad designed things too, if a survivor find ways to keep alive good for him/her, so far killers cant be killed.

I'm a red rank survivor (But I'm actually really terrible, I should be rank 8) and the jump in amount of salt is immense from rank 5 to rank 4 lol. At rank 5, the killer would say gg, I would say gg wp. At rank 4, I broke a billy's ruin and he dc'd. Then I broke a huntress' ruin and she tunneled and camped me. But there are a few non-toxic killers who won't tunnel you, even if you're in front of them. Not even slugging. They can destroy the team and still say gg wp without saying EZ or L. Shoutout to those killers!

I can only speak from the Killer side, as I know it can be bad on both sides, but the amount of salt I get while playing LEGION of all Killers.... I've been told to kill myself more than any other game and I don't even slug! I don't understand it all. It's like... some (SOME NOT ALL) Survivors think that if the Killer tries to win at all, then they should be punished. Some (NOT ALL) seem to think that anything they have an issue with should be nerfed into the ground. It's really an unhealthy view point to the game.

ohmigod I got hate mail for "tunneling" tonight... I never even hooked anyone twice in a row. -_- Everyone was on death hook when I killed the first survivor. How is that tunneling? What weird definition of tunneling do survivors have??

(I did ask how I tunneled when I didn't hook anyone twice in a row. They didn't respond.)

I was rank 15 and they were rank 11. Nowhere near red ranks. Toxicity is colorblind.

Both sides sling a fair amount of mud at eachother to be honest...often about the dumbest things
