They DC - I depip - Seriously
Can anyone please explain, why i get punished for survivors DCing to a killer they don't like to face?

This is a good example of the current pip system. I'm glad you posted.
As far as disconnecting and stuff goes, there should be guaranteed SAFETY pips... Why? Because your actions were to try to play the game, ranking is supposed to be based on PERSONAL skill, not others, and if others are DC'ing that's not a good judge of YOUR personal skill.. so why get punished that way? It only messes with the rank and skill levels and further dis-proportioning them, in my opinion. I think it needs to be re-worked.

Survivors DePip as well if killer DC Early, so it’s not just one-sides
I believe if they change that if Killer or 2-3 Survivors DCs you automatically Safety PIP. That way DCs aren’t too much of an issue because if you don’t wanna play that game you do have a right to leave, but also the other sides shouldn’t be punished for it.

I'm not gonna go through hundreds of posts just to find where it was confirmed. I don't have that kind of time.

It has been stated you are not meant to lose a pip if they all DC. This is a frequent visual bug so check your pips after exiting the match to see if you lost any not the actual end game screen where it says you did.
Sometimes you can lose a pip to another bug of course.

Ok but if 3 survivors DC during the match and you just kill one of them (maybe 0 cuz of the hatch) this will result in a depip.
4 Gatekeeper, 1 malicious, maybe 1 chaser, and 1 devout. Total = 7, which is <9, so doesn't save the killer's pip if all the ######### say: " oh, you know what, dear another spirit with prayer beads? We're all gonna DC right in your face and go to bully rank 10s"

I just watched the end game results after I killed 2 survivors and 2 escaped. I safety pipped but then it said the rank system could not be reached and that I needed to restart the game. After I restarted it, I lost a rank
