Is there a guide on how to proper set up your 7.1 headset for this game?

Since recently I realize that after playing DBD again I cant even hear the Huntress and Freddy lullabies. Also when I watch other streamers play I hear more surround sounds than playing myself.

Any suggestions? I am using Steelseries Arctis 7.
