Playing killer
What are you supposed to do against 4 red rank survivors playing in SFW? I just got this game a few months ago. Been loving killer up until now. I am currently sitting at rank 6 purple and am obviously still new. But it seems i have no chance against these survivors? What is the point in playing killer when you feel totally powerless? It seems if I down someone I really cant afford to try and hook them because their whole team just does gens while im carrying them. And as soon as i leave the hook they get unhooked. But if i stay nearish gens get done fast. Any person i run into can loop for ages so I eventually have to abandon them and try to get some map pressure but as soon as i find someone else the same thing happens again. Obviously writing this after nearly every game being like this. Why am i even matching with red ranks? It seems i need to de-rank to face people closer to my skill level. Now im not saying I should destroy the survivors every game or anything. I just should feel like a strong presence? If that make sense.

You learn how to play nurse and spirit, and bring a mori.

This is literally every game nowadays the survivors are much stronger than the killers. They need to balance things.

Moris are your friends. (And if you notice in a match that the survivors are really bad, you don't have to use the mori.)
Also try slugging. I don't know which killer you are maining, but Infectious Fright is a great perk on most killers.

This is the reason nurse and spirit exist.... and then those groups complain about them because they're not strong enough to do what they do against a demogorgon or doc.... they actually feel human and that annoys them.

I've kinda been playing a lot of Freddy and he does good but it seems these certain games theres almost no reason to even chase because its all baiting. Of course i can get better at things but i just dont see how you can beat certain loops.

Mostly Freddy because of his abilities and ability to teleport. When i play other killers it seems it takes me ages to check gens unless they are super close.

I have played Nurse and she seems super strong. Spirit I havent really played too much with but when I have headphones on she is nice to play as. I mostly play Freddy or Hag. It's to the point where survivors are the power role. Especially against SFW because there is no unknowns. If you get spotted everyone else is just ripping through gens. I almost want some kind of secondary objective to spice it up a bit. But idk i havent been playing long enough to really have that opinion

######### though that just because I love the game and play enough to reach the higher ranks that I am forced to not play 15 of the killers...seems like bad design

Voice chat is most definitely an advantage.

Ive Just made to rank 5 myself with GF and trapper, and now it seems every single game am going against some sweaty SWF team.
Devs should just admit they fukd up by allowing SWF into ranked, and create a different kind of matchmaking.

I think it strongly depends on what killer you're playing against them and what perks you bring. Sometimes you just can't do anything if they're just toxic af but sometimes the right perks can help a lot. Another important thing is strategy. If you see there are only 2 gens left and you took a while to hunt down a surv, just slug them and go to the gens. Survs at the red ranks tend to rush gens, so you should focus on slowing the game down and to end chases real quick. If nothing works keep on trying and develop new strategy. You can do that c:
