For those of you that haven't looked yet, now's the time!

  • Blood Warden (2000)
  • Hex: Huntress Lullaby (2000)
  • Technician (2000)
  • Urban Evasion (2000)

If you're anything like me, you can't stand Freddy's playstyle - definitely worth picking up BW so you can be the cheap douche you've always wanted to be, without hating yourself more in the process!

“Cheap Douche” that’s cute, considering Decisive Strike has been in the shrine, what, 5 or 6 times? Didn’t know it was “cheap” to be rewarded for catching someone and hooking them at the precise time a gate is opened.

Or, as the Survivor mains would say it, Urban Immersion.

Misinterpreting the meanings of words is fun for Survivors to do I notice.

I love seeing blood warden as survivor because it actually scares you when it happens and combined with NOED you just feel so helpless.

I get these types of messages all the time and as a killer it’s hilarious seeing blood warden go up (I’m probably one of the only killers who use it)

Easy there, man. Wouldn't want to cut anyone with that edginess.

On a serious note, though - I'm a killer main with almost 2K hours on console and only 200h on PC. 95% of my time playing this game is through the eyes of a killer.

It's not hard in the first place to hook somebody - even after the gates have been opened; so I don't really see a strong element of "precise timing" there - especially if you have traps set near the exits or play sadistic location classes like Doctor or a Michael (when using mirror). - but that doesn't make it an any less skillful, useful, or fun of a perk.

Our Blood Warden, to me, is like their Decisive Strike - when used, it just plain sucks for the other side; it's annoying, and it can shift the tide of the game.

I own it, I use it on a few killers, and it's a great perk. It was a joke, simple as that.

It's definitely worth it. On the very off chance I ever play survivor, Nea is my primary character to play because of the 100% movement speed while crouched. I feel like a slug if I play anyone else. And the moment you have that perk and start slapping it on people like Claudette... -- GG, EZ

    Love that perk lol!

You know what a meme is right? They don’t call it immersion because they misinterpreted the meaning of the word.

Congratulations. I have about the same amount of hours as you do on console. SoveriegnKing on PS4, take a look at my achievements if you want. I play both sides equally, you can see I have 84% of all the achievements in the game. Including the new Chapter. You want me to take you seriously throwing your hours around, give me you gamertag on Xbox or you PSN so I can verify.

This is because I find it absurd anyone can compare Decisive Strike to Blood Warden. Blood Warden requires the Killer succeeds in catching someone after the Gens are done, and requires at least one exit gate be open, and requires the Killer be able to take someone to a hook. That’s a hell of a lot of situational requirements. Decisive Strike requires nothing more than succeeding a skill check after the Survivor fails. Not to mention, there is no time where it’s its not effective to use. You don’t have to wait till the Killer does something out of of your control to activate it, like Blood Warden requires the Survivors to open a gate first. There is easy counter play to Blood Warden, wait till the guy gets hooked *if someone gets caught* to open the gate. I 99% gates if I see someone hit the floor till they are hooked every time I see it. I’ve never been cucked by Blood Warden before.

Your assessment of Blood Warden sucks, is annoying, and can shift the tide is correct. However unlike DS, it has so many requirements to even activate, none the less be effective, there is no comparison to DS. It requires the Survivors make mistakes. Open a gate when someone is down, not to mention someone get caught after the Gens are powered.

Jesus. Nothing even remotely negative was said on this thread and I already have to take a shower to wash all this salt off. What in the world, LOL.

Calling people who use Blood Warden a “Cheap Douche” isn’t negative?

I played against a Nurse whose build was Bitter Murmur, NOED, Blood Warden, Remember Me

We spent the entire match wondering what perks she had because none of them were obvious in game. We all expected NOED by the time the last generator was completed, but had no idea the amount of hell we were unleashing when we finished it.

Funny ending to the match though, I'm sure she completely bodies teams with that build most of the time.

IMO shrine is pointless now. I'm not going to spend shards that I could spend on cosmetics on perks. Besides the fact that I have all killer perks (except STBFL because I never bought Myers) and nearly all survivor perks (missing about 5 or so, all D tier perks), I just don't see the value in spending shards on perks. You are better off just leveling up a character to 40 with BP.

    RIP Shrine

I got 5 stacks and made the entire rank 20 team insane, with unnerving presence and all that. None of them could snap out of it
