Red Rank meta
So guy's who's ready to see nothing but Spirit almost every match in red ranks, not like you're ever gonna see many M1 killers because teams will go out of their way to bully them and remind them they're not playing Spirit/Nurse, then complain all they get is Nurse and Spirit most of the time. Bvhr really messed up nerfing basekit Nurse that hard, a lot of not the best but solid nurse players are gonna drop her like a bad habit for Spirit, why not she's so easy in comparison. For me I'm a rank 1 Legion main, I respect the effort Nurse mains put in to get good with her and I don't have the time or the will for that and Spirit is stupidly good, I like a tough but fair challenge but I will dodge red rank Swf squads (gotta be the most unfun crap in this game, running through every single pallet on the map, and getting downs only for them to occasionally be insta healed and nothing you did means anything anymore meanwhile gens are flying because Gen rushing isn't a problem am I right). Just my thoughts, good luck solo red ranks, hope you love spirit every game.

If you bothered to play more killers and learn to play them you will discover there is more than spirit and nurse out there even for and at red ranks

Why do you think I play Legion (if you paid attention you'd know), I do play other killers. Spirit is easy mode, there's a reason so many players play her at the high ranks. As I said before I like a challenge so I don't stoop to playing Spirit where all I need is game sense and headphones, but others I can't speak for. My friends I play with always talk about how almost every game they fight a spirit on Console, and they're rank 1 survivors every month. I'm just saying what others have for months, tell me I'm wrong that Spirit is actually difficult to play.

I'm in red ranks, and I never understand this mindset of it only being filled with Nurse/spirit mains. Have people forgotten that Billy and Freddy are also viable? Rank 2 Freddy and I can hold my own against swf groups.

she is still a top tier killer.
she is probaply still the best killer in the game.
please stop acting like they killed her, when in fact they didnt.
also, this PTB i almost only played Trapper in red ranks and still did very well.

That's great, I play Legion red ranks and still have good games. Play against a sweat squad carrying insta heals with one guy following you around with object sabotaging every trap you set and see how you feel, I used to play him too. Either way you may like the nurse changes but a lot of people don't, personally I think the addons are cool with some great ideas but the basekit nerf wasn't the right thing to do. I'm just saying that people are gonna leave nurse as soon as they start losing games with her and swap to Spirit

I feel ya I play Freddy a lot now too, he's underappreciated. I'm just calling it as I see it, I see way more Spirits and Nurse's than I do Freddy's and a lot of Nurse mains who got used to her and don't wanna change are gonna feel the nerf to her basekit and flock to the other best killer in the game.

Viable means the Killer is able to do well on the skill of his player and/or is able to force mistakes out of a Survivor. Not simply depending on and/or profiting from Survivors making a mistake in the first place.
Nurse was viable due to personal skill. Spirit is viable due to forced mistakes.
There are other good Killers, but those 2 was the only ones that don't depend on the mistakes of others and can win off their own abilities. And the higher you go into ranks added with the more skill that is gained by both sides, fewer and fewer mistakes are made. Making those merely "good" Killers not all that viable due to not having as many Survivor mistakes they depend on to keep up to par.
Im not even talking about SWF or the occasional strong team. The higher you go into ranks, the more experienced players will be. Meaning that everyone in higher ranks earned some form of skill and that means you will be facing more skilled players the higher in rank you go. Putting more and more Killers as non viable along the way till there's almost nothing left.

I don't think a lot of people are getting what I meant or maybe I said it wrong, I didn't mean that Nurse is dead (by no means she is) but her basekit is suffering next patch and a lot of people who either just got the hang of Nurse or those who hate using addons are not gonna be happy, so a chunk of players are gonna flock to Spirit. From playing red ranks as survivors and what my friends complain about it's usually that they're always playing against Spirit and Nurse, that's not a controversial statement by any stretch considering they are hands down the best killers in the game, I don't care that you're good with X killer rather I'm talking about how good the killer is itself. Nurse ignores survivors defenses and Spirit is the strongest mind gamer available with some crazy addons.

Okay, but unlike Spirit, Billy, and nurse, you need the majority of the time rare,very rare, and sometimes iridescent add ons to face optimal rank 1 survivors and rank 1 SWF teams.
Billy, Spirit, and Nurse don't need add ons to be viable at rank one, and that's the difference
