What is Halloween event?

can someone please explain what exactly this event is, what does it change to the game? Are the new killer skins (clown, spirit etc) only available around Halloween time or will they be on the store forever? I’m new so I’m not really sure what the event does.

The skins of the previous Halloween event are added back in with a 10% discount

The skins of the current Halloween event are in the game right now and can be bought with cash, but on the 22nd there will be a big update, you can then complete challenges (via archives) to get an event currency called 'Serums'

You can get a total of 60 'Serums' and you can get 1 cosmetic piece for 10 Serums which means you can get 6 event cosmetic pieces (2 complete sets)

Archives are a battle pass system similar to Fortnite where you get a free version and a paid version (paid costs $10) and you gotta complete various challenges. The Serums are only found on the free side though.

Also Nurse gets nerfed. But thats not an event only thing.

That, and the event's called "The Hallowed Blight", so if you hear people throw the name around, now you know.

So basically the skins are in the store, they will be there forever for you to buy whenever you want similar to the ones from last year. You get the currency (Serum) from the rift in the upcoming update and you need 10 for one cosmetic piece, you need 30 for the full skin and you'll be able to unlock 2 full skins, the others you will have to pay for if you'd like but they will always be available in the store for you to buy.
