Alert nerf is very unnecessary.
Upcoming nerf with more Undedectables is logical, but not very fair in my opinion, this perk is decent but it’s still not be used very much and nerfing it is not a good idea.

It’s not necessarily a nerf, rather it’s a side effect of granting the stealthy Killers Undetectable. I see what you’re saying and I’m in the middle here. Perks like Premonition and Kindred have the following: “Trumps any of the Killer’s stealth abilities.” Alert does not have this, but if it did, that would be nice. Trump it or not, I think it’ll be fine. Alert is still a wonderful perk.
P.S. The devs should make sure that those said perks actually do bypass Undetectable.

The thing about Premonition and Kindred is that those perks were made back when the only stealth things in the game for Killers were Wraith and Insidious. That line of text wasn't written with a Killer who is immune to detection perks in mind and was rendered outdated the moment Myers was released. Now that they are adding some consistency to their stealth Killers (particularly by giving EW1 Myers Undetectable instead of total immunity to detection perks), it doesn't make sense to randomly have Undetectable be inconsistent in how it functions by having it be nonfunctional against one specific aura perk.
What should happen instead is that the "Trumps any of the Killer's stealth abilities" line of text should be removed from Kindred since it is no longer true and hasn't been true since the Halloween chapter (it should also be removed from Premonition as well, since you shouldn't need it to know that Premonition beats Undetectable due to how the latter functions).

I think alert could be changed to give a noise notification when the killer performs a break action similar to how killers get notifications when surviivors rush actions. To be fair an invisible killer still makes a crap ton of noise when they break a pallet or gen. Its a good middle ground i think.

That's what alert was with old Freddy, you got a sound alert and nothing else. It was always so annoying having it and finding out the killer was Freddy. I'm actually bummed with this Nerf. But there are plenty of counter able perks to equip instead.

It's not an Alert nerf, it's a nerf for the way more opressing perk OoO.

Okay i explain it. Most killers capitalize on survivor mistakes, especially stealth killers. They are in a massive disadvantage, when the survivor got a wallhack on them 24/7. And that's what OoO does. So the change is nice.

I'm just happy my Piggy can break pallets while crouched and not get outted by Alert.

While making stealth on these killers more viable is something that should be done as one swf user with an aura perk can negate the killers movements.
There is one small thought though as it does increase the gap between SWF and solo when they have been trying to reduce it. If one SWF member sees the killer then comms tells the others where they are anyway. It makes me think if certain conditions such as these could be done by what option you chose to load in with as survivor and if that would help close that gap a bit and not nerf solo more than the main problem.
