Should maps be more 'Alive'? Like you are in the entitys realm so maybe the map can be mean too.

I'm not going to lie...that sounds AWESOME!!! I love that idea. It would make things interesting.

Every map needs maurice the horse12

I've stated this before. The enviorment should be more threatening. Fear of the unknown should pushed for more than adrenaline fueled chases.6

Maybe environmental kill moris, hills sinking into the ground and forming elsewhere would be cool. Hooks floating around(homing towards killer).2

I was thinking more realistic. Not too much supernatural madness. We don't want the survivors to become immune to the overall effects.
So, random doors that teleport survivors, or that open to bricked walls.
Windows that seal up after going through them. If
Trees that grab you.
"Mimic" chests.
Darkness that only affects them.
Build some trust issues for survivors...make them worry and wonder.1 -
I would love to see hallucinations of other survivors in game as in a random claudette walking around 😮 like ######### you're not on my swf team.3

I love the idea of the map being a malevolent force that also torments the players during the trial.
The idea of the map shape shifting while no one is around is slick. A reminder that the entity is meddling with everyone in the trial. Perhaps even the basement could "teleport" between its possible spawn locations from time to time. XD Imagine being a survivor that goes into the basement and it "moves" while you are down there. Suddenly, the killer's terror radius is blaring, you run out and you do not emerge where you think you should be.
Random events are cool too. I like the idea of the realm having qualities of its home killer, even if that killer is not around. Like traps snapping in the distance at MacMillans, occasional revving chainsaws at Coldwind, hearing The Shape's breath right behind you when you are alone at Haddonfield, hearing the shocks of the Doctor and/or his laugh at Lery's and so on.

i would love to see a maze map which changes the routes from time to time. not too hard but just a little bit. otherwise i would say something like fake gens to foul the surivors or kind of cosmetics like the hourse from the clown map.

It is a fun thought, but the devs have enough issues with straightforward maps. I don't think they could do a variable map very well. IE. you will see survivors start through a window only to have it close on them and have no way of getting out of the window.2

windows grabbing survivors for a second. pallets that break when dropped. gens blowing up by themselves.... lockers that lock you in.... lol.... hell yeah....

No single surv should be able to loop a killer like they do now. Why should a single surv have the ability to loop the supposed stronger killer for so long? I am not asking for easy kills. But i am also not asking to be spun dizzy with the amount of circles some can pull off.

If a survivor loops the basement-hut for to long the entity, cause its strong there. Could somehow block the exits for the survivor.

A little off topic but when I hear a dog bark on Badham I always think there should be a map with dogs.
Like a couple pen you need to sneak by or they alert the killer up to a certain range.

It makes sense cause the other realms of the Entity's world can be colliding into the trials. We already know that Benedict and the others are in a different part of the realm from the survivors we know.

cool ideas and hate to be that person but these changes require so much work and considering the way that this game has been coded, chances that we are gonna get these changes are minimal.
Game is still not balanced. Before all of these changes, the game must be balanced.

I also think some of that balance could be achieved by creating more "threats" on the map. The killers need some help to stall survivors all across the map....and survivors need more things to take your attention.1 -
