Who has the best/worst lore? (Killers or Survivors)
Honestly, imo the Killer with the best backstory is Spirit, and the worst goes to Hillbilly.
Now if we're talking survivors then the best goes to Jane, and the worst goes to Dwight, Meg, and Claud. (bc let's face it, they aren't that interesting)
This is just my opinion.

I kinda like kates backstory, pretty cool.
For me the best killer backstory is probably bubba's because i like how they managed to put him into the entitys realm. Felt pretty realistic

For killers either Clown or Ghostface, they just have this essence of realism in them, like this could actually happen. For survivors, probably Jeff, I like how they tied his in with Legion as well. Least favorite for killer is any of the licensed killers, because you basically already know the lore, same for survivors.

The worst of them all are Nancy and Steve's, not a single drop of creativity on their story to get "grabbed" by the entity to DBD

For worst survivor it’s David like I still don’t get what’s special about him
and best survivor is probably Jane it’s nice how they talked about her whole life they must have put a lot of effort into it
and best killer is hard for me because spirit’s is very nice and interesting while in plague’s she is different from all killers she has no motives to kill people the only reason I can think of is because survivors are modern and she’s ancient so they probably did something that she thinks is disrespectful for her (stupid reason XD but it’s why I like her)
and for worst killer it’s legion nothing is really interesting about them

I actually like Meg’s backstory. She dipped out of a full ride to take care of her mother, who had supported her through her entire life and worked hard to raise her. She was a single parent.

Clown for killer. Hard for me to decide on a survivor (I'm not as invested in survivor lore as killer), but maybe Adam.

Best survivor:
Feng Min - because it's personally relatable to me.
Jeff: it's the first time we've seen a direct interaction with the survivor and a killer even if it was probably only Frank that he interacted with.
Worst survivor:
Nancy: It's literally a paragraph that sounds like the first half was just copied off the wiki and the second half was just a generic dbd *insert abduction text here* line.
Best killer:
Rin: very nice and intriguing story it's also interesting to note that this is the first time The Entity has ever switch targets so abruptly.
Pig: I'm a Saw fanboy and I feel like it really fits Amanda's character being so emotionally and mentally unstable to have delusionally rationalized that this was John's idea. Amanda has always had grey area of not exactly evil but not exactly good.
Worst killer.
Demi Logorgon: why is it here ...... uh it's ruthless..... what you want a better reason go suck a lemon. We don't even hear about it getting abducted all we got is just it's ruthless. Nancy's is still terrible but at least we heard how she got abducted

Killer :Spirit by far has the best lore. I also like wraith's backstory. Worst is probably demogorgon.
Survivor: Feng min, kate and jane have good backstories imo. Worst is steve and nancy, they have just lazy backstories.

Best killer: Spirit or Plague
Best survivor: Hard choice but I gotta go with Feng. I also kinda like the simplicity in Megs’ story.
Worst killer: Demo’s is underwhelming
Worst survivor: Probably Nancy

Best Killers for me: Spirit, Ghost Face, Clown, Hag, Huntress and Plague.
Only including Ghost Face for the licensed Killers because he is an original character outside the GF Mask. Love the flavor text, theme music and lore which (imo),sells him as a creepy Killer. The rest of the licensed Killers I LOVE but putting em in a different category.
Survivors: Nea, Dwight, Kate, Jane.

I think Huntress' is the best single killer's lore. I dunno why... maybe the giant russian lady taking on a platoon of german troops with nothing but hatchets and the russian winter... intrigues me.
Clown is cool just because of how close he is to an actual killer clown. O_O
Spirit's alright... never clicked with me though. I like her design, not so much her lore, because it's not her fault she's there and it seems like a cop-out. : P
I like the Darkness Among Us for best overall lore chapter. I like how the map, survivor, and killer(s) all link together nicely... and how Jeff left his mark on the map.
Best lone survivor is probably Ace. It's one of the most cliche, but he's on the run from the Vegas Mob! I just want to root for the guy. : D
Licensed I don't really want to talk about because there is almost no creativity with it. Oh, Freddy was about to kill Quinten? ENTITY! Micheal was about to kill Laurie? ENTITY!
Even Steve's and Nancy's were uninspired.
I will say, GF's and Pig's were cool though. Every other licensed felt cheap... except maybe Bill and Bubba as well...

Best Killer: Clown. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Rin and Adiris's lore as well, and they'd be second and third, but Clown's lore is so detailed.
Best Survivor: Either Kate or Jane for me.
Worst Killer: Does Michael even have backstory? Same thing goes for Demi. (I would like to tell @Volfawott that we do know how it got grabbed, it's just hidden away in its power description. A hole literally just opened in the ground. No explanation, and that is not how the Entity grabs things).
Worst Survivor: Laurie. As much as I hate Nancy and Meg's lore, at least they give us something to work with. Laurie might as well not exist.

Best backstory for survivor is Jeff. I always feel bad when an animal is left with the short end of the stick, and the fact he's the first original survivor too have a connection with a killer is cool.
Best backstory for killer is Freddy. I may be biased because I love Freddy, but I like the fact the backstory actually continues from where the movie left off.
Worst backstory for survivor are the original 4. None of them have anything really going on, and their stories kinda suck.
Worst Killer backstory is Myers. Myer's actual story is awesome, but the paragraph he gets in DBD is so pointless, it may as well be blank.

Hillbilly is the best for me poor boy it was treated like a monster and was bricked in a room.
Worst for is myers probably.
Best survivors : kate , Jane
Worst survivor : laurie
Special note to the nurse, his story is sad but kind of understandable.
