Should I prestige my Killers?

Title is self explanatory, I've had The Trapper and The Ghost Face as Level 50 for a very long time and I've been putting off prestiging them for a long time because I'm at red ranks and I have a crap ton of add-ons and cool offerings left for them and if I attempt to use them at like, Level 20 then I would get clapped. The thing is though is that I realllllyy want their bloody skins because it looks really cool and I figure that if I reset their levels, I might be able to get a better chance of getting actually good perks instead of getting Monstrous Shrine and Insidious.

I would personally do it, it does increase the odds of better items showing up

  • No you shouldn't, unless you absolutely love their playstyle.

It really doesn't have a noticeable difference that's been disproven a fair bit on the forums here.

Only Prestige if you absolutely want the Bloody Cosmetic pieces amd/or if you have nothing left to work towards. I'm personally only looking to Prestige Michael Myers, Leatherface and Freddy. It's just a LOT of commitment, time and Bloodpoints. Plus if you've invested and gained a lot of Perks...I wouldn't Prestige those characters till much later.

Also good idea to mostly/only Prestige during Double Bloodpoint Events so you can maximize it.

Not really, after the update prestige only awards the skin, since it is easier and cheaper to get perks on the 4 slot bloodweb after level 45. Also, there is less luck involved, so if you dont care about different pixels for your killer, just stay at level 50

I think you should do is get 1,000,000 bloodpoints, get at least 2000 iridescent shards and have three easy dailies. I say prestige one first and finish all prestige. Then after that they are completely finished to how you like it. Then do the other one.

I am working on prestiging the killers at a slow pace. I would recommend using up all your nice add ons and bp offerings before prestiging, then use the proceeds towards leveling again.

Make sure you don’t prestige all at once. So many will be babies, you NEED a mature killer with at least level 40 perks because you CANNOT expect to have a good time with less than 3-4 perk slots.

If you want those bloody cosmetics then yes go ahead but make sure you save up at least 1,000,000 blood points first. The increase of rare stuff is almost nothing so keep that in mind.

It's best to level up to 50, then stop. Use up all the good addons and point offerings you got, then prestige.

Ya, use all your offerings and add ons for one first, and don't spend any points.,at least not until you cap out, then spend them on a third killer. This will help You gain points asap. Once you've exhausted one killers inventory prestige, then use killers two inventory and the saves bps to boost killer one.

You'll probably be playing this game for a while, so the sooner the better. This is the way my gf levels up survivors.

I never prestiged a character because it already takes like 2000 hours to get every perk on all of them. I don't want it to take longer!

If there's a character or 2 you really want the bloody cosmetic for, I'd say go for it. But prestige feels outdated now that so many cosmetics have been released.

The bloodweb bonus hasn't been proven, I don't think. Lots of people say it makes no difference.

How long do you guys reckon it'll take for me to get to 1,000,000 BPs if I on average get 30k BPs per match,do three dailies( each giving 30k BPS), and spend the 2k iridescent shards on a teachable I already have?

Only prestige a character if you like the bloody outfits. In my case I do like most of the prestige outfits but my long term goal is to get all killers to p3 level 50 with every perk.

As for survivors, I've gotten Nancy to p3 level 50 and am working on getting all the perks on her too. Not interested in doing that for any other survivor.

I have a P3 Nurse, P3 Freddy and P3 Huntress. Call me crazy, but I think there is no noticeable difference between the Bloodwebs. So I didn't prestige any other killer and I feel like I wasted a lot of bloodpoints for no reason. If you don't care about the prestige skins don't waste your bloodpoints.

You define yourself if its worth. I personally only prestige for cosmetic reason these days due the limited time I can play.
