Good Solo Survivor Builds
Hey. I only play solo survivor because I have no friends that play DBD. What are some solid solo builds? And if you could explain why the build is good then that would be very nice.

I use Adrenaline (adrenawin), Dead Hard (or whatever exhaustion perk you like) for obvious reasons. Then I use autodidact just for quick heals and because I like it and then DS just in case. Really, it's all about what you like.

Adrenaline, Unbreakable, Dead Hard and Decisive Strike is probably the most favored.

I like Iron Will (helps lose killers even if you're injured), Decisive Strike ('cause being tunneled off the hook sucks), Empathy (helps you know where exactly the killer is), and the fourth one depends on your playstyle: Borrowed Time (if you want to make rescues) or Adrenaline (so you can power through gens and not worry about getting healed) or Kindred (if you often get left on the hook to die) or Balanced Landing (it can be good in chases but on certain maps it's useless).

What platform do you play on?
I generally don't find myself building too differently, solo vs. partnering with a friend. The real value lies in being able to communicate things to your friends, and I naturally just tend to use a lot of perks that give me useful information.
Spine Chill is great for ascertaining whether the killer is coming toward you, and it pairs well with Premonition to effectively create a radar that pings every 30 seconds. I feel like we're going to be seeing a lot more of these once Undetectable gets rolled out to more stealth killers.
Bond is fantastic because it tells you where your teammates are and what they're doing, plus it's the best healing perk in the game.
Borrowed Time and/or We'll Make It can turn you into a team player, despite your solo status.
Iron Will buys you breathing room during chases, and lets you pull off some good jukes.

Dead hard and dstrike are the only perks you prolly need the other two can be whatever I find that dstrike is neccessary in solo because of getting farmed off the hook with no borrowed all the time in front of the killers face. Which isn't the killers fault that they go for the weakened survivor but it sucks real bad if you don't have ds.

Solo survivor is going to suck hard no matter what build you use.
That said, here's a build to help make yourself as resilient as possible:
Dead Hard - best exhaustion perk imo
Spine Chill - counters stealth killers, and helps position yourself before chases start.
Decisive Strike - killers will tunnel all the time, and DS allows you to be extra reckless.
Borrowed Time - killers will camp all the time, so it's just nice to have.
---Spine Chill is not really required imo, it's just very helpful. If you trust your own awareness enough, you might consider using Adrenaline or Unbreakable.

I personally like to use the following.
Inner Strength: It's probably my favorite healing perk. I've gotten 2 or 3 heals out of it a match.
Spine Chill: If you prefer a stealthy playstyle like me it's great for avoiding killers all together. It's especially nice against Spirit and any of the stealth killers.
Bond: Being able to see what your team is up to can give you invaluable information.
Iron Will: Having no grunts of pain is fantastic for when you manage to slip the killers line of sight.

Perks that i like to use when Solo are:
Iron Will
Decisive Strike
Better Together
Borrowed Time
Inner Strength
Adrenaline
Bond
Aftercare
Unbreakable
Empathy
Object of Obsession
Any Exhaustion Perk
And my current build is: Borrowed Time, Iron Will, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard/Balanced Landing
BT to counter camping and tunneling killers which are pretty common.
DS because of the same reason as above.
IW because its a lifesaver sometimes. Can even be used to mindgame in Jungle Gyms, killer has to guess sometimes if you left the loop or if you're still there.
I switch between DH and BL. It's nice to have one of them since they can save you in a chase.

I'm on PS4 so there's no pre-game or post-game chat and everyone seems to have their messaging set to Friends Only.

My solo build:
Obj of obs: hands down the most op perk in the survivor side. It directly counters half of the killer roster, it's still an advantage against the other half. (Just needs some looping/juking mecanics).
Iron Will: I could change it, I'm using it to deal with spirits (not really a counter, but sometimes is helpful).
Dead Hard
Decisive Strike

My solo build is empathy(let's you know when a Chase is happening), kindred (let's randoms see who's where and who's safe to do unhook) , balanced landing and adrenaline ( for Chase and heal situations) and I'll usually run a rainbow map or one that can mimick the effect and use that to get people on totems or gens nearby

This one. It's focused on your own survival. If you're more of a team player swap Unbreakable with BT.

The best solo survivor build has 3 staple perks.
Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Dead Hard.
Why those?
Dead Hard is the most reliable exhaustion perk an gets you out of jail if you get to greedy on a pallet. Also you basically have a free hit dodge.
Decisive Strike gives you basically a free health state if the killer doesnt let you slug which is rare if your not in red ranks
Borrowed Time is awesome if you want the pip, you can basically make risky saves if needed to max altruism and get the safe unhook always. Also granting a safe unhook, anti tunnel, and makes killer waste a lot of time.
The last perk is fill with what you like or what fits best in your rank.
Adrenaline is a solid perk but if you play solo you never know how fast the gen goes and might often be a dead perk or an overkill. Better for swf
Unbreakable: Synergizes with DS, slug meta, solid perk.
Pluderer’s istinct/Pharmacy: especially if you dont have a medikit they can drop you one in game, with plunderer you can most likely find a key and escape on your own.
extremely useful perk, better than self care.
Botany Knowledge: keep yourself and everyone healthy. This works to make points/pips.
Iron Will: Killer doesnt have the chance to track you with sound, solid perk, can stay injured and pressure gens.

You need kindred though, if you don't, a lot of potato teammates will leave you until 2nd stage.

Pretty sure I made this comment before the kindred buff lol.

Kindred, sit on a gen and watch how altruistic your teammates are.
Resilience + Spin Chill, surprisingly a good combo
Any exhaustion perks, I personally use Dead Hard.
Bring a Med Pack, when injured heal yourself to 99 so Resilience is active, Spine Chill tell you if a killer is coming, heal up and you’re back to full health. You can also bring Insta Heals to extend a chase.

My solo build normally is: Empathy, Spine chill, Kindred and Lithe
0 -
Kindred, Dead Hard, Detectives Hunch and Borrowed Time
0 -
Botany, Borrowed, Kindred, and Sprint.
0 -
All the meta perks are good in general. For solo, you can also add information perks like Bond and Kindred.
0 -
Sprint burst, iron will, DS, UB
or my personal favorite
Sprintburst, hope, OoO, adrenaline
If you can loop both of these builds will do you well.
