Why do killers get rewarded for disconnects but survivors dont?

Killers can be just as annoying or bad as survivors yet they get brutality points for disconnects. I've had killers disconnect on me and my friends and we get rewarded with 0 points, our items taken away and our offerings wasted. With no compensation whatsoever. This is completely unfair and ridiculous to deal with.

    That’s changing with the new update. Survivors are getting points for several things that they didn’t before. Look at the patch notes to see them all.
