When bhvr started with dbd in 2016, they didn't have many resources, I'm very grateful to the devs for adding a halloween chapter, but how did they do it?

Got license, added killer.

Someone contacted the other and asked if the killer could be in the game and they came to an agreement and boom there's michael and laurie.

@DudeDelicious exaggerate a little, sorry XD but it's more than just, "they talked to the license owners" I mean how the owners of the Halloween license let the devs put those characters even though the game was not as well known and had very few players <3

Well I know that john carpenter loves video games, it's why he looked the other way when metal gear solid made snake a rip off of the character from the "escape from new york" movie john made, so that might be it.

Prolly just stuck him in cuz he's cool.
Then the Halloween people were like "hey you can't just add our character to your game without permission!"
And dbd was like "uhhh...sorry bros, we didn't know! We just though he's cool"
And the Halloween ppl were like, "Yeah, no, it's totally cool! You did a good job"
And dbd was like "cool, thanks bros!"
