Point blank attacks shouldn't miss

If a survivor runs directly towards me, and is a hair strand away from me, there is no reason my attack should miss, unless they have dead hard. It's honestly tiring missing my attack because the survivor ran into me and did a circle. The attack should still connect, it's ridiculous that it doesn't.
