Ok, now I know I'm not going mad!
So, is there any reason I'm not catching up to survivors? I'm literally running in a straight line behind them and making ZERO progress towards gaining any ground. At first I thought there was something fishy going on when it happened a few days ago but now it's just happened three games in a row. Some games the opposite happens and I'm super fast, able to catch up to survivors in seconds. My internet connection is fine but a couple of people in post game chat just now also said they have noticed this before also. What's going on? I'm not using a slower killer. Hag, Huntress, Nurse etc so why does this happen? I could understand if I was just outright being outplayed but we're talking 'running in a straight line'. To make a point, when I really noticed it, it was on Rotten Fields as Trapper. I must have chased this David from a gen by the outer edges to shack and didn't get close enough for a swing. #########?
Edit : No, it's not hardware. Tried 3 different keyboards. All working fine.

My guess is the servers.
Yesterday I was playing on Ormond and a Jane I was chasing suddenly went warp speed to the other side of the map. It wasn't her doing and we talked about it in after game chat.

For sure yeah, if/when it happens again I'll get it on shadowplay and link to onedrive or something. It's weird. It's like 3 quarter speed or something you know!

Has been doing the same thing to me on ps4 (Australia) exactly as how you describe; on and off for the past 3 weeks.

I kind of had an example of an SB claudette going ######### lightspeed, but I was viewing them at a weird angle and it was probably an illusion.

Had the same thing happen to me. I noticed that i go slightly slower and in some other games I'm insanely fast. Tried restarting my game but I haven't had the chance to say if it got fixed by that. Happened randomly throughout the days playing.

Bugs that increase or decrease someone's movement speed is not good at all.

At the end, the killer said he was at bloodlust 3 and still lost distance. @MandyTalk I'm not the owner of this video but is this being looked at?

Btw outside of the bug or w/e you mentioned like the slowest killers in the game except for maybe Myers EW1

Nurse is the slowest killer. She moves slower than a running survivor at 3.8m/s while a survivor runs at 4m/s

OMG. I am not crazy! I've been noticing the same things... Survivors are like FLASH. They just zoom zoom while in a straight line even, can't make up any ground. Even bloodlust 1 was ineffective.... I thought it was me....... I'm so glad I am not alone here!
Oh and its not 100% of the time and its not ALL the survivors, and not every match either. (And no not talking about sprint burst. ) Sometimes I even try to run in like a diagonal line... like where I know they HAVE to go to (normally that makes up ground, if that makes sense), and that doesn't even help me....
I will say, I don't think I'm "slow" like blood lust etc makes me feel like my speed is in fact increasing. Just survivors seem way fast. idk. It's just been so weird.

For those who don't get what's going on: the survivor is stuck in perpetual speed burst meaning they always run at 150% while killers can only reach near that with play with your food & bloodlust at max...maybe noed speed boost to top it.

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who's seeing thus stuff. In reply to your post though I get what you mean but it honestly feels more like I'M the one who's a bit slower. You get a feel for the enviroment around you and the way it just 'feels' as you move, you know!!
I'm still waiting for it to happen again and if anything I went back to being a speedy boy last night and was catching up to survivors easy. It seems to happen in waves. I honestly think now it's these servers. I know there's a bit of a divide between some having a great experience and others having a bad time but for me, they have been mostly negative and I think the fact there's such an obvious split in the community about them...that kind of goes to show just how unready they are.

That guy in the video was starting to use the Demogorgon's charge, is it possible he somehow got locked into the lowered movement speed of it?
