Offering to increase hook distance.
Just played a survivor team that played 2 stacking offerings to increase the distance between the hooks.
Anyhow joke was on them as I played a scratched coin so there was one less chest in the world.
I dont think either offering made any difference at all. I didnt miss a hook all game. I'm sure they didnt miss the chest.
Transmission ends.

Hooks are already far apart now. If you don't pay attention to which hooks you are using up you can make an unhookable area.

Sabo is currently a joke in the game. Even more than it was last year, and it was already bad then.
The hook distance is also ridiculous. There was a patch sometime earlier this year where they adjusted the hook spawns. Ever since then hooks spawn so close to each other a killer can literally hang two people next to each other and camp them both at the same time.
Using the Petrified Oak Offering does diddly squat in this game. Tried stacking them and they make no difference.

You think? I think they are closer than ever. I seldom wiggle myself off these days.

They are definitely a lot closer.
Last year I could still pull of dual hook saves with a little luck. Like, you break one hook as killer comes near, he moves tot eh next hook and you break that as well and your teammate wiggles free. Very hard to do, but with luck doable.
Now, I have broken two hooks and there's still a third hook so near by that the killer still managed to put the survivor on hook. The hooks are closer than they have ever been.
Not always, but it's disgusting sometimes how close the hooks are, especially on some of the more constrained maps like Suffocation Pit.

They are not closer it was only a few months ago (like 7 or 8) that the devs INCREASED the minimum distance hooks could spawn to one another. It was around the same time as the Sabo buff. I vividly remember people being worried about these two changes happening so close together. People were afraid that sabo squads would return.
In fact I remember the old days when sabo squads would bust every hook on the map and if killer wanted to win. They had to slug or run Iron Grasp and Agitation to make it to the basement. This was before the Iron Grasp nerf.
