KILLER CONCEPT

Name: Xena Valor.

Nickname: The Eris.

Reasoning of Nickname: Xena Valor is of Greek and Italian ancestry, though she favors her Greek heritage more. She worships the Greek Gods and Goddesses, and she feels herself to be closely aligned with the Greek Goddess, Eris, of strife, discord and chaos.

Chapter: Echoes of Screams.

Difficulty: Intermediate.

Special Power: Wolf In Sheep's Clothing: Eris, over the years of growing emotionless, had to learn how to uphold an image of normalcy. She used those skills especially when homeless to trick people into giving her money, into stealing their belongings. Now as she roams around to kill survivors, she takes her mask off when the power is activated. She hides her blades behind her back as she walks towards her prey, acting as if she's a survivor just like them. When she gets within twelve meters of them, that's when the chase begins. When they're caught in a chase, she lets out a mocking laugh for their naivety. Every wolf has their own outfit of innocence. "It's pitiful how easy it is to trick such simple humans!" - Eris

Unique Perks

Painless Strike: Eris has CIP, congenital insensitivity to pain. Because of this, the survivor perk, Decisive Strike, has a 25%/50%/75% chance of not working on Eris, even if the skill check is done successfully. "You think you can hurt me?" - Eris

Teachable: Painless Strike: The Entity guides and protects its Killers, helping them feel less pain and have less worry about being injured from Survivors. Decisive Strike has a 25%/50%/75% of not working, even if the skill check is done successfully.

Pest Control: Due to Eris' childhood, she has a deep and intangible hatred for men. When chasing an injured, male survivor, she gains a very slight/slight/moderate speed boost for approximately three seconds. "I'll crush you like a bug, perverted bastard!" - Eris

Teachable: Pest Control: The men have caught your eye, and it's time to make them pay. When chasing an injured, male survivor, you gain a very slight/slight/moderate speed boost for three seconds.

Dual Strike: Eris has two melees, being her dual ninja forearm blades. Charge up an attack for 6/4/2 seconds, as you run, to slash with your right melee, then immediately swing your left arm to hit with the blade. "Who are the dumbasses to only use one blade? I've got f**king four!" - Eris

Teachable: Dual Strike: A surge of energy goes through the bodies of the killers, allowing them to swiftly attack with their melee two times. Charge up an attack for 6/4/2 seconds, as you run, to slash with your melee multiple times.

Visual Perk Concept for Painless Strike - A cracked shard/knife to symbolize how Decisive Strike can appear to be futile.

Visual Perk Concept for Pest Control - A rat or a bug with a foot above it, or it could be a very tiny version of a person with a foot above them.

Visual Perk Concept for Dual Strike - That little wind/air motion, like when you draw something in motion and add lines of air by it, that's by two blades that look like they're striking down.

Default Weapon: Dual ninja forearm blades that are connected to her forearms with leathery straps. The blades drip with the blood of her victims as she swings her arms around to hit her foes.

Backstory: Ever since she was born, she has been abnormal. Born in the family of five, having an older sister and a younger brother, she has been the black sheep of the family. The CIP made her parents be helicopter parents, and they were unwitting of the gene in her brain that made her more susceptible to murderous tendencies. As the girl grew older, she had a fascination with death. She frequently went out of her way to kill bugs, then she went to smaller animals, like squirrels and rabbits. However, at the age of nine, she snapped. She had went through a traumatic event of sexual assault, and it festered the thought of wanting to hurt people, wanting them to suffer like she did.

At her late teens, she ran away from home and became homeless. The curly haired woman would be caught hooked on drugs sometimes, though her dark thoughts hadn't ended. During an encounter with a man who wished to rob her of her belongings, albeit stolen as well, she had grabbed a pipe from an alleyway and bashed the man's skull in. It was either kill or be killed. She knew that no one was watching her back, and she knew that if she wanted to survive, others would have to wither away. She will crush them like a bug under her shoe.

At twenty-two, she managed to sneak into someone's home and rob them of some of their belongings, one of the prized possessions being two blades of lengthy size. They were dual ninja forearm blades, but now they were hers. However, the owner of the house came home during her thieving search, and she had to quickly dispose of him.. It was too late as the alarm in the house had been activated by the man with a push of a button from his phone. The police will find her now. She made haste to leave the house, going into the woods in search of a safe haven. Xena found a deep, dangerous cave. It felt cold, it felt unknown to her.. It felt like her new home. As she looks around the sharply defined cave, she could feel a sense of calmness overwhelm her as everything began to get darker.. Was it calmness, or was it calamity?

Appearance: Has mid-neck length hair that is raven black and curly. Eyes are dark green with flecks of gold, perhaps looking a bit amber in shade. Her skin tone is a very pale golden brown due to her biracial, specifically Caucasian and Latina/Hispanic, heritage. She stands at 5'4" with a petite hourglass figure, her arms being muscular and toned more so than her legs. She wears a human skull over her face, the jaw of the skull missing as it reveals her lips, chin and jaw. Her lower lip is typically bloody from self-mutilation. Only lower half of face, a bit of her nose and eyes are visible with the mask on. Body is covered in light and deep scars due to frequently getting injured without knowing or self-mutilation.

Map: Whenever it's time to chase survivors, she's always brought back to her safe haven. Where one can venture into the forest, but they're ultimately led to a rocky, dangerous and deep cave. The cave has a setup where she made her home, being able to find things like a makeshift bed, a makeshift fireplace, etcetera. By her bed is a hook where she'd watch a victim hanging by her bed. "It's cold, and it's dark down here.. You get used to the dark after being in it for so long." - Eris

Mori: She lunges her arms down at the back of a survivor, both of her forearm blades sinking into their back. Once they're on the ground, she yanks her blades out of their back as she cackles at them for their foolishness. She'll stand up straight before she slides her foot backwards onto the ground, then she slams the toes of her foot into the ribcage of the survivor, a retractable blade stabbing into them. She does this repeatedly as a wicked, satisfied grin can be seen under the skull mask, her lips and sinister, cat-like being the only things visible.

Base Movement Speed: Walking: 4.82 m/s; 120.52%. Vaulting: A little slower than average due to blades on arms.

Terror Radius: With Special Power Deactivated: 30 meters. With Special Power Activated: 12 meters. With Special Power Activated & Add-on: 8 meters.

Add-ons:

Serrated Blades - As your blade connects to the flesh of a survivor, the survivor bleeds more and leaves a steady trail to their location, making them more easily traceable. "I love how your blood drips off my blades." - Eris

Pendant of a Golden Apple - The necklace shows the dedication towards Eris, the Greek Goddess. With the necklace on, you destroy pallets faster and regress generators more severely. "Nothing will f**king stop me!" - Eris

Cracked Jaw of Human Skull - The jaw that she ripped off for her human skull mask. Placing the jaw back with her mask helps her hide her identity more, thus lowering her terror radius a few meters down. (Does not apply to special power.) "Can't hide from what you don't know, dumbass." - Eris

Tattered Family Photo - It shows a family of five, the middle child being Eris as she stands by her family with various looks due to the mixed races. The photo fuels her rage, making her be stunned for a lower duration from all stun actions. "Oblivious f**king parents." - Eris

Snapped Hairtie - An old, elastic band that she would wear her black hair up with when she was nine. A time where she could've been redeemed, a time where she had her innocence. This item lowers the terror radius of her power to eight meters instead of twelve. "Whenever I find you, I will dissect you like the pig you are." - Eris

Lock of Hair - In order to help herself seem more like a victim, she'll take their clothes and even skin of their heads to wear the hair. Because of this, she looks somewhat like her latest, dead (only works for victims killed by hand) victims. "Peekaboo, #########.." - Eris

Lightweight Blades - Sometimes even Eris knows that she has to replace her blades to increase the probability of catching her victims. With this add-on, she's able to vault over windows faster, but victims bleed less due to the decreased power behind the strikes. "I don't tire out like you do, f**king pests." - Eris

Chipped Cave Rock - Her home is her cave, and she's adapted her senses to the environment of it. The echoes of people's pain is much more evident for her, allowing her to find injured victims by sound much easier. "Can't dodge a hit. Now you can't shut the f**k up? Pitiful." - Eris

This is my Killer Concept that I've created. I've had help from some of my friends with this before I decided to post this. I'm not too good with the numbers and knowing what is better and what isn't, which is why I've decided to post this and get feedback! There's also a Survivor Concept that's currently heavily a WIP that goes with this Killer, and I plan on finishing that with a friend as soon as she's able to. I also am not artistic, so I can't really draw any of the visuals that I've made for this, though my previously mentioned friend can and possibly will. The photos used in the references section aren't mine whatsoever, and they're simply there to give people an idea of how Eris looks in case my words didn't give you a good enough visual.

An informative post. This is an effective spray for controlling aphids and other sucking insects, as it suffocates them. It is excellent for plants such as roses, which tend to suffer from aphid problems.

We too used rhubarb spray, suggested by https://www.rosevillecapestcontrol.com/ professionals when we faced a very bad aphids infestation in our rose garden. It was very effective and also helped us protect our rose plants. A perfect alternative for the chemical spray, which may also harm our plants.

I like the power, but do they look like a Survivor in the game, or the same?

The first perk isn't good enough. There are other ways to counter Decisive Strike better, and it is not worth a perk slot.

The second perk is just really situational. There are some scenarios where it would be great. I like it, just because I think all perks should be good though a bit situational.

One question, can the third perk hit the same Survivor twice in a single attack?

Great concept over all, good job :D

Sorry for the late response. I hadn't checked this for a bit as I had been busy in real life. Thank you for feedback!!

The power won't make her look like them, but it will make herself seem more like a Survivor with the lack of mask, hiding her weapons and not running in such a predatory manner. (Which is a 50/50 chance, seeing how some players can remember how everyone looked in the lobby or some can be like me, completely forgetting who you're even playing with, lmao.) However, there's an item that can help give the Killer an advantage with the power, specifically "Lock of Hair." With that add-on, it'd allow the Killer to be able to look more like a Survivor that they had killed by hand. Something I'd assume would be great with a Mori or the Rancor perk, and it'd make Survivors be more on edge as to who to trust until it's too late for there to be a safe escape once the person is close.

The second perk is situational, and that's pretty much because I don't really like the idea of perks that just are always good. I like there to be some pros and cons to everything. Plus the perk fits in well with her backstory, so I thought why not?

The third perk, I imagine, wouldn't be the easiest to aim due to the movement of wielding two hefty blades. If successful, I imagine it could down them. I feel like a good way to balance would be to avoid the hits being precise in the game, making the screen swing side to side immensely since it would take obviously a lot of work to manage the feat of maintaining precision with such blades. Plus I'm hoping the charge up time will give Survivors an opportunity to think of a sudden change in route, like going to a pallet or a window (which I imagine will end up being Eris' biggest weakness in certain maps since going through windows will be slower for her due to her size and blades) to avoid the blades.

I hope this answered your questions! Once again, thank you for your feedback. I'll do my best to check often and to take any criticism I get to further this concept into one that will be balanced, new and fun at the same time.
