Why dying light is more pular than thanato
They both give simular debuff bonuses when all survivors are alive but whereas thana requires all survivors to be injured for a 12/16% debuff to speeds dying light only needs 5 non obsession hooks to apply its debuff, permanently until the obsession dies.
Whereas with thana is just heal, and seeing as most of the healing speed increased are over 20% the debuff is easily removable.
Tldr of that : dying light is just thanatophobia but done right.
How to fix thanatophobia?
OK why not change it into a reward perk.
When injuring a survivor gain a token, while you have a token survivors suffer from a 4% action speed debuff. If you manage to down the survivor within 10/20/30 seconds keep the token. If not then you lose that token.
You can have a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens

I'd take thana over dying light any day, unless there's a specific reason I'd want dying. Dying Light only effects 3 survivors, doesn't gain stacks from attacking the obsession, and hands out a healing buff that counteracts the slower heal speed in the first place. Plus you don't have to commit to a chase and a down and a hook to get a stack, a simple swing and leave is enough to get the slowdown.

Question: do these 2 perks stack with each other?
imagine dying light, thano, and sloppy butcher all in one build! They’d never get healed! Nurses calling seems an appropriate 4th here

That's my Spirit build along with BBQ. They do stack btw :)

Coulrophobia almost useless( unless combine with distressing) because they'll stop healing if killer coming near you

Both perks are actually laughable weak if they aren't stack together or with other slow down perks.

5 stacks of dying light is a 15% slow. That said it only applies to 3/4 survivors, so across the board it's only equivalent to about 11.25%.
That's before considering it also gives +33% altruism speed to one player which lowers its total even more.

That's why Swing chains/ Jump Rope Freddy is a beast now. Add in Dying Light and Thana and someone is in for a LONG night.

That being said I have a question;
Why does Dying Light still buff your obsession now that you aren't out to murder them as quick as possible?
