Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.
You should be able to split cosmetic cost with different currencies

Have 5k shards saved up and want one of the more expensive cosmetics? Pay the rest with auric cells.
I think it would encourage people who don't want to spend like $8 on a single outfit to save up shards and then spend a more reasonable amount of money.
The auric cell only cosmetics wouldn't be affected.
I guess you can technically already do this by buying an outfit piece by piece but doesn't that cost more?
