The true hunt begins
So was playing a match that was going to well so i slugged the second to last person and left so their teammate could heal them up and continue playing a bit longer. They made no attempt to help their teammates so i picked them up and we went on the hunt for a BAD WORD head. After 5 minutes of searching they still made no attempt to progress any generators and i found them hiding in a locker. In true BAD WORD head fashion they DC'ed and i lead the other person to the hatch.

Maybe hook the one you caught without slugging and go close hatch. If the game ended quickly then ended quickly. It's not gonna make a difference "letting them" get few more points. Just end it to prevent wasting time for everyone.

Yeah, they should add something similar to gold express, where if you don't do an objective for too long, you're revealed to the killer.

This game has 'idle crows'.
If you stay in the same area, or don't do anything for awhile, crows start to land around you. First one, then two, and then (at around 40 seconds of being idle?), the crows actively circle the Survivors head and caw loudly and follow them fora few seconds upon the Survivor finally moving.
And I do believe Spies From The Shadows works with Idle Crows.

Honestly, if the killer slugs me for the 4k, I'd rather the last guy didn't pick me up. No reason, higher chance the killer will find them if they do.

You can stand still and just doing gesture will make idle crows not spawn. Survivor can hide and not doing anything without the crows spawn.

It wasn't a trap or even about getting 4k, i was letting then have a fighting chance. I've seen to many lazy survivors lately that will just hide while i'm the one doing all the work to try and score a win for the team.

I wasn't going for the 4k, and even after i getting the other person up he still chose to do nothing and just hide. The second it became obvious he wasn't gonna get an easy hatch escape he DC'd

Killer don't get the crow notification until they have multiple crows around them. So unless you happen to be right next to them to hear the 1 crow it's hard to find them.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's one of the main reasons why i can't enjoy playing survivor anymore. I can't even count how many times I died on hook just because no one would bother to come and save me.

Yeah i lead a pig on such a long chase while still having a bear trap on that everyone else was able to remove theirs and do a gen and i was just left to die on my second hook.
