Playing the nurse on PlayStation 4?

Okay now here's the thing. For every 10 bad nurses I fight against on PlayStation 4 there's at least one God tier. And by that I mean there's no in between. So my question would have to be. How exactly this one played the nurse on PlayStation 4?

The reason I'm saying this is because eventually I'm going to have to actually play the nurse. I've played every other killer and have them to level 50. Everyone else but the nurse which is now sitting at level 6 because that's back when I started playing the game in new from what I saw on PC that she was supposed to be the most powerful killer.

If anybody has any type of tips please let me know because I don't want to just only use the pocket watch with enduring on. It gets kind of stale but then again I suppose I wouldn't know.

Try your best not to be a smart-ass please.

It takes a LOT OF PRACTICE.

First off - Nurse on console requires more predictions than Blinking on top of them. You need to blink where they are *going* to be, not where they are. This is to compensate for the FPS drops on Blinks.

Second - You need to get used to having your sensitivity turned up to 100% and playing with it. It’s the only way to do 180 Blinks and the such.

Third - Muscle memory. It takes a long while to get used to it, but your muscle memory takes time to practice and “tune in” to judge your blink distances.

Here’s a few videos. I’ll upload more later.

    Good Luck!

Thanks man I'm going to give these a look-see. To be honest I used to play a little bit of nurse but never really upgraded her. I probably should have just tried to play her before they change the way she teleports now it's alien. Thank you again

No problem. You’ll find after the change, she’s actually much more powerful than before. The ability to “Blink Cancel” by looking down to blink in place is huge. As well as being able to blink up to buildings and down to the basement, ect. No aim assist at all is a bit rough to get used to, but you’ll find it’s better this way. Aim assist usually had you locking on to hit boxes at bad angels so you hit objects, and not the Survivors.

I’m sorry I can’t give you tips because I’m also awful with the Nurse. I play on PS4 as well, but what exactly is the difference between PC and PS4 when it comes to blinks?

The thing is people say it's the sensitivity but yet I see God tier nurses on console that wrecked my entire Team without really thinking about it. I guess it's all based on experience and predictions.

I’d say if you want to get the nurse down, dedicate a day to just playing barebones nurse, and you should get the handle of it quick. (Ps4 nurse main btw)

ps. Shadowborn helps a hell of a lot with the 180 blinks and just blink hits in general.

    Practice makes perfect!

A few tips I used to learn the Nurse was to not use any add-ons what so ever. You want to get use to her normal blink and not become depended on add-ons that are of limited quantity. Become more familiar with the default blink speed and distance and you will notice a huge improvement in your games.

I would also recommend getting "shadowborn" since you play on console. It by no means is needed but with the fps and slower controls console players have it goes a long way to helping.

Even when you are getting your butt handed to you STAY IN THE MATCH! If you come across a survivor who knows how to pull some mindgames on your Nurse blinks and you simply can't catch them do your best to keep trying. Forget the rest of the match, this survivor is now here to train you as you practice! Try your best to figure out what maneuvers the survivors is pulling that cause you trouble and try to adjust your style to catch them off guard. Soon you will be far less likely to be taken by surprise with their "silly" juke attempts.

Don't cry when you see Lery's treatment theater. This map is horrible for the Nurse because a ton of your blinks will simply get canceled out due to the sheer amount of object clutter. I'd suggest doing your best during the match and crying once its over. At least this way you might still get a few Bloodpoints. :p

When stalking/looking for survivors don't double blink everywhere. The fatigue time is much longer and the second blinks distance isn't worth it if you're not sure someone is there. Traveling by single blink (again unless in a chase) is still pretty fast and less fatigue means more time for your eyes to scan the screen and not the ground.

Get use to the new vertical blink mechanic. You can have a fully charged blink at the ready and a pesky survivor will run right towards you knowing you will blink far past them. However if you look downward you will decrease the distance traveled and can catch them off guard with a short blink using this method.

As you get better with Nurse you will start to notice how "lax" survivors become when they realize who they are facing. Since most Nurse players are not good on console most people relax and think "gg, too ez". Use their ignorance to your advantage. Maybe miss an attack on purpose so they think you suck and then surprise them when you crank it up to 11!

I too play on PS4 and spent a few weeks getting the hang of Nurse. Currently she is one of my favorite killers and aside from the damn hospital I can bring some true terror to a match. :)

i'm a billy main as well. unfortunately, i'm a perma-noob because of time restraints. when i started playing, billy was the weakest killer. i picked him anyway because of his playing style. i'm not a fan of stealth so the wraith (who was 'OP' and the top killer) was of no interest to me....
