Hook Suicide Is As Bad As DCing
Considering how many people I've seen just today claiming 'I suicide against moris/specefic build/certain perks'! I can't believe I have to say this:
THROWING THE GAME IS JUST AS BAD AS DCING!
Hell, it could be WORSE, because while DCing punishes you for throwing your little temper tantrum, you're abusing a loophole to suicide whenever you want, without punishment.
DCing or Suiciding; you're throwing the game and screwing over 3 other Survivors. Not to mention dying the Killer points as well.
Stop being a child, put on your big boy pants, and either accept the bad matches along with the good, or go away & stop screwing over other players. You're not in the right. You're queuing for a match and then crying and rage-quitting, and screwing over 3 Survivors & 1 Killer with your little loophole.
Don't pretend this is about your 'right to a fun game' because you accept the chance of a loss every time you log in. You're just huffy that someone is using something YOU don't approve of, and flipping your table because you don't like it. You're ruining the fun for 4 other people.
And even if they won't admit it; EVERYONE who hook-suicides would DC if DCing was not bannable. They're just trying to put a nice face on it.
Grow up and stop wasting everyone's time with your petty ragequits, be they disconnects or hook-suicides. I'm flat out sick of watching people run away crying because they don't like Nurse, or they are crying because I used NoED, or I did a Hillbilly hail-mary run & hit them.
Grow the heck up, or don't play. Either way; stop ruining everyone else's fun.

As a killer suicides are the better alternative, 4 skulls looks better and i dont risk a d/c chain.
But i am curious, how many do you think do it as a way to d/c and how many do it to try and get that sweet sweet 4%? Ive always assumed the majority are just trying to get lucky.

The people who try to get that 4% will struggle.
I've run into at least 5 people on the forums just today that said 'I suicide if I see <x>'. Hell, one person started a thread about how 'This is the only only thing I suicide against!'

Survivors have a right to not struggle. This is DBD law.
Smile a little when they do it, for they are making your job easier.

I remember I had an argument with this one short-sighted player about how much worse it was for the game when a survivor DC's vs a killer. I tried pointing out how if a killer quits, at least all the players involved get to get into a fresh game right away - where as a survivor quitting leaves 4 people in a compromised game.
With the rash of entitled snowflakes who quit when the game violates their safe-space, I wonder if that person has the same opinion now?

If a Killer is running meme, totally imbalanced add-ons and perks...
Why do you care?
You stacked the deck in your favor.
This is a 1v4 and when Killers do petty stuff like adding Freddy's Pink add-ons with Thana + Dying Light...
Even in the old days when BNP took your gen to finished... the Killer still got to chase players and PLAY THE GAME.
They didn't stare at a red bar getting dominated.

Yes, it's good that you recognize that killer DC'ing is just as bad as survivor suiciding. I commend you for your wisdom.

I care because it ruins the game for 3 other Survivors.
Even when playing Killer; I feel like crap if one player ragequits (be it DC or hook-suicide). Because now I came to try my best, but that'd be almost bullying when they are 1 man down in the first 2 minutes, so do I let them all escape? 1? 2? how do I decide which 2? Will they have fun if they lose? Will they have LESS fun if I'm not actually trying to catch them?
Just grow TF up and don't ragequit.

This is one reason why lately when I play killer I don't bother using add-ons. If someone DCs or suicides on their first hook, I can go afk at an exit gate and wait for the other survivors to finish the gens and leave. I lose nothing but a couple minutes and they get to escape without feeling bullied. Sometimes I try to farm or something, but that's pretty boring and sometimes I'll have another survivor DC if I try to hook them, which means gens will then take even longer to finish.

sorry but I'll suicide against mori's and there's nothing stopping that
2 -
Then you should just not play. You're childish temper tantrum over mori's ruins the fun for 3-4 other people, and you're abusing a loophole to avoid being punished.
Just don't play if you're not mature enough to handle people using items you don't like. DBD is, after all, 'M' for 'Mature'.

I'm not in charge of people's fun on a video game

Dude, you're like on a hot steak of complaint posts today... Doesn't seem like you're having much fun. Maybe take a break for a bit.
2 -
That's why punishing DCing won't change much.

People suicide on hook for alot of reasons. Some intentional. Some not. You keep telling people to grow up and play how you want them to play. If the killers internet suddenly turns to ######### should you be forced to stay? Should you hang around for your "teammates" to farm you? If the killer is camping and your team is falling for it isn't better to keep them from feeling the need to save you? Those are just a few in game examples. That's not counting real life issues coming up. You don't like people killing themselves on hook fine. But don't assume you know what's happening or why.

As a killer i do think a hook suicide is better than dcing because i wont have to worry about a dc chain happening and while i do agree that someone hook suiciding can screw the other survivors it might not affect them that much because if they suicude when they are hooked for the first time they probably weren't going to do much to help them and it might even be better for them to do that like with basement trappers while you might get rescued by your teammates and escape you could also get every one of your teammates caught and lose the match almost immediately so no hook suicides are not as bad as dcing
