People who abuse the report system really needs to be banned

Can't count the number of times get called Hacker / Reported for destroying a team of noobs, low-rank 15s that doesn't know how to hide well / go against a Rank 1 Killer. Leaves obvious scratch marks that are easy to tell where they were hiding, always use Whispers in these matches since there will always be one guy hiding somewhere and wastes alot of time. took some time to find the last guy and still get reported most of the time, it's as if they think hiding makes them completely invisible, or if they are treating all Killers are deaf and can't hear well

These people who are abusing these reports not only are they wasting the dev's time they should get punished

They are ignorant twats that won't listen even if you explain your logic to them

These people really need to get banned for falsely reporting players and abusing it, I had absolutely no sympathy for these idiots that complains and whines that Killers are OP all the time, and would encourage more Rank 1 Killers to De-rank and stomp s them

I am not worrying about getting banned, I am saying people who abuse the system should get banned, they report for stupid reasons like face camping, camping, tunneling etc. and for wasting Dev's and mods time on actually getting hackers banned

I'd go half and half. Players abuse the report system knowing they can get away with it as nothing will happen. So they use it as a way to double down on their toxicity using it to threaten players who are unaware of the state of the report system. However the current iteration of the report system is lacking and has really vague rules or even what I'd call outdated rules that allow for the report system to keep getting abused.

I'd be all for punishing those who abuse it but I feel as though if the report system was in a state where it actually worked and had updated and sensible rules it wouldn't be abused as much. For example Unsportsmanlike Conduct shouldn't be a report category. Everything listed under that category could easily fill into other categories. However I see so many people file reports under Unsportsmanlike such as camping because it's a vague category that can be left to user interpretation.

Also to clarify I've seen so many people file a report under that category through YouTube and smaller streams.

Yep that's why I will report every player from now on, just so until the devs deemed it necessary to punish people who report the system, hence I will face camp every survivor from now on with a Dynamic IP just to camp every one of them and add NOED on top of that for some extra toppings
