Spirit's fine. I think she's strong and yes she's annoying to go against, but not really that bad.
Would I complain if they nerfed her a bit? Hell no. Would be welcome, a nice thing, but not necessary.

She will get nerfed. It doesn't matter how many of you give advise on how to play against her or claim to like playing against her. Survivors have their pitchforks and torches out ready to go.

Mostly because ever since Legion they realized if they complain loud enough and Frequently enough the nerf happens.

What you are saying is true but survivors don't have any other reliable game mechanic other than looping. Stealth is dead with the amount of aura revealing perks and the maps are way too bright unless you play blendette
I'm perfectly fine going against base nurse and she isnt loopable but going against her is fun. She is one of my favourite killers to go against. Spirit on the other hand is just coin toss chases and they aren't enjoyable. Just play some spirit against solos, every chase lasts 20 seconds if they dont have iron will ( which is also useless if you have stridor).
Old legion ignored everything survivors had and required no skill from both sides even without exploits. It wasn't about them being non loopable

Theres multiple tell tales shes phasing, but they arent shouted at you, her hair stands up and she glitters for 1 and 2 she also goes to a certain point in her animation when shes phasing, the devs gave you tell tales they just aren't shouted at you. Also never try to make her break a pallet, slam her with it (for the love of god dont camp it) and run like hell looping wont counter her but you have to run or make her use her power slam her and run if you can make her question where you are then think where would I be if I were her? If you break los from the husk it's not a 50/50 its how far is the next pallet to make more distance. Sure shes gonna down you eventually but if all chases took a minute or more if your team if efficient on gens you can escape. (Side note: NEVER and I mean NEVER slow vault into her unless your 100% sure shes phasing as in you hear it and run back to the pallet.

I hope we never see the day spirit's power gets nerfed. Some add ons sure but her power is fine.
That said, seeing the constant complaining that she can't be looped like other killers makes me think the devs are gonna cave and give her a nerf that will allow her to be looped. If that ever happens I'll probably hang up the game for good, She's one of the last few killers I enjoy playing.

Sorry to hear about the messages you received. Hopefully you reported them to Sony, I know they don't tolerate stuff like that.
There has been no official word about Spirit changes. It's purely speculation. I wouldn't count on it unless you hear it from us.

I gave the person that kept going and going hating on me a warning before i sent a report to sony but it was an alt account so i dont think the person cared too much about if that account in particular gets banned

While her power charges and then the standard is to fake phase see what the survivor does and then catch them. Hee chases dont last long if you know what you are doing

That's what I'm saying. She can be looped by using multiple structures and gaining distance while she's on cooldown.
A lot of Survivors want her to be looped the same as other killers, around the one structure to "Balance her" instead of changing their playstyles to match the killer. Lets hope this never happens.

I already said this in other posts and I’m going to say it again.
I almost exclusively play killer and actually play the Spirit when I want an easier, more relaxing experience.
I really think I don’t need to go further.

She's fine, in my opinion. If she's strong, then let her be. No need to nerf a strong killer. She isn't OP.

Some survivors want a nice balanced game and not ez wins. Literally just the bad people complain and they will always complain about something new.

Prayer Beads is probably the most broken item/addon/perk ever added to the game, really feel they are more scared of the backlash of the mains more than the games ruined by this add on.

Oh ya but a few tweaks would been fine look at what became of him.
Fix the moonwalk exploit and fix Frank's mix tape iirc was the only thing needed. The double blades glitch did pop up till the rework.

You seem to forget any moment any Killer aspect is nerfed in any aspect or when Survivors get any new perks that sound even somewhat useful to run. These boards fill up with Killer mains claiming the world is ending and how they will quit.
Over the years, Killers have been dramatically buffed and Survivors nerfed. It is time we see more equal re balancing. If a Killer was S tier before all these changes, surely they may need nerfs when Survivors have ate 10-20 nerfs in general game play.

It comes down to what is justifiable. Are you going to tell me MoM was a perfectly reasonable perk to have on release? Double pallet jungle gym or original jungle gyms were healthy? BT protecting the unhooked and unhooker encouraging otherwise bad saves?

Old Legion was just... bleh. Not good but not fun to verse. I get that man. But they shouldn't have done what they did to them.
And I'm not saying it's on the survivors (unless that's ALL they want to do and then get mad when they can't) but I feel the GAME needs to get back where it's not just loop city.

I know perks shouldnt be solution for balance, but I have been rocking IW and its been helping me a ton vs 2 strongest killers so I have every reason to use it.
Only thing I would nerf is Prayer Beads.

You must be very lucky if they aren't using stridor. Every spirit I go against uses that perk so there is no reason to use IW

huntress and hag are too much map dependant nurse was nerfed hard and freddy can put up a fight but end of the day hes still an m1 killer if u are playing against 2000+ hr survivor mains ur only choice left is spirit

Nothing should ever be 100% reliable and different tactics do come into play for spirit..... now the "coin toss" that you refer too has always been in the game for killers and survivors.. everytime a wraith or any killer attempts a mind game, thier flipping a coin...

I'm sorry, but are u saying there is mind games against a person who is invisible?
Also there one just one of the suggestion. The point was to say that she has zero terror radius but is visible while phasing. So she can still function and gen grab with the addition of her movement speed increase. Obviously the movement speed won't be too fast but slightly faster than the clown.

First off, how can you trick her when she can hear you in pain, hear you breathing and see your scratch marks. You have a picture of spirit so you should know how obvious it is see to locate survivor especially with headphones or strider.
Secondly, looping is what helps a survivor waste time for the killer so that there team mates can do gens. By not looping u are destined to survive in a chase for 20 seconds and not give your team mates enough time to do gens.

god forbid survivors have to change their tactics insead of the same old brainless loops instead of trying to juke and work around the killers power

Oh, but did you forget she can see scratch marks, hear pain and breathing with the addition of having perks that strengthen those features. So the reason why I didn't mention not seeing survivor is because she has everything to locate them with or without perks. It isn't even difficult to learn unlike the nurse which is why I never saw the point nerfing her because she will still function the same.

yes, a killers power is going to give the killer an advantage in the game
that's the point of killers getting a power

People can juke a Nurse, does that mean she isnt op?
Work around the killers power? Explain how so that I can just simply cancel out every single thing you do because killers aren't brain dead.

try being unpredictable instead of following regular looping paths, doubling back on your own scratch marks, listening for the spirits footsteps, running iron will or dance with me or even lithe if you struggle that much against her
there's plenty of ways to counter spirit, most people just aren't willing to change their own gameplay
