I keep going back and forth.
But I really like Chucky, and thinks he belong's in this game, he has so much potential to do alot.

If the dev's would just add him I wouldn't have so much damn back and forth with his size, but I think he could work you people just got to give it a chance.

Let him be able to be in chests. Please.

Nah, i'd rather see real killers than a doll that I could punt

This hole thing started all because I changed my picture on YouTube, people kind of grafted me toward the idea of candyman but I'm a chucky fan and can't change that?

What's a real killer
0 -
I mean speaking movie wise Chucky is a real killer in the horror universe.
1 -
Not Chucky, his name has what you can do to him
Chuck him
7 -
That's actually pretty good I can't argue against his name, but no survivor can fight anyway , or do you just mean you would be able to Chuck him.

I think he just means that he's not that intimidating. Put in a game like DBD, where people are barely scared of chainsaw-wielding psychopathic cannibals who wear the faces of their victims, a doll killer would feel like an utter joke where atmosphere is concerned.
3 -
I think he's scary and would give some good jump scares with the right perks on. And could be fun at the same time.

@Fibijean You mean kind of like Legion?
0 -
I was going to use Legion for an example, it's to easy because there's nothing really scary about Legion
0 -
Kind of like if Legion were a toddler.
0 -
@Fibijean Chucky at least sounds like an adult trapped in a doll.
Legion sounds like an annoying teenager.

Yeah, but bear in mind that a lot of Chucky's "scare factor", if you like, comes through his dialogue, which is practically non-existent in DBD.
1 -
What about him just out right being evil that's not scary, jumping on people and disappearing because he's little and quick. That would be scary him just running at you with a knife
1 -
I'm saying it would be very difficult to get across the evil factor in a game like DBD. (Just look at Legion.) Just saying "oh but he's really evil" in his lore isn't really scary. The other is a bit more subjective, but personally I wouldn't be scared by an imp in overalls no matter what he's armed with. Not saying it wouldn't work for some people, but for a large proportion of players he would just be a joke.

I'll continue to post this on every Chucky thread.

I shouldn't be laughing but I am

I have two arguments to Chucky in DBD.
"Bride Of Chucky."
"Seed of Chucky."
If you have seen either of those movies, then Chucky is not scary AT ALL. If you haven't seen them, then don't do that to yourself.
1 -
Dude those movies are amazing
Umm 2010 Freddy Kruger
0 -
.... umm do you remember the content of those movies? Both have a scene played as a joke, that utterly undermined anything that could ever be scary about Chucky to me. Sorry man, I have to disagree.

as much as chucky would be wonderful to have in the game, it'd be hard to make him into a killer due to his size and having a undetermined set of abilities.
0 -
They don't have to use everything he could do but possessing a survivor by using the amulet of damballah is a must and doing the chant, having lightning and the clouds and all is a must, by possessing a survivor obviously would have more benefits but that would be an add on ultra rare, his size wouldn't matter either while in doll form, I'm pretty sure they'll make it right

Let's face it Chucky isn't that scary, but hes is an awesome killer.
0 -
okay well, that's something we can talk about a little more.
Can you tell me why you think he'd be fun to play as or against? What would his power be? Any idea for stats? Perhaps some kind of explanation of how he hooks and carries people?
I'm not against the idea, I am just curious as to your ideas and how you would handle it if you could.

being able to possess a survivor would completely break the chain of gameplay that was set for dead by daylight. overall, it really would not be a good idea like most of his abilities, hence why i said "undetermined set".
not to mention there's no way that he would be able to fit into the lore itself. i can understand why it may seem like a good idea on paper, but in practice, its a terrible idea.

This is the best explanation I can give you minus the pychokentic powers and being Charles Lee Ray himself, they could lower the hooks for his trial and raise them when he hooks his survivor. I've heard this idea floating around, But they should make him at least 2ft tall which is 30 to 31 inches he's technically that size in part 3 and 1 maybe 2
Being able to possess a survivor would not break the game chain command, it would pretty much be like a Tombstone being brought in by Myers but more theatrical, and giving chucky himself more advantages. Like who doesn't want to kill with Kate.

Or maybe David was the killer lol
