Why don’t you ever hear the term ‘Optimal Killer’

We hear about optimal survivors all the time and how an optimal SWF is a nightmare for killers. Why don’t we ever talk about optimal killer players? I think a lot of the balance discussions right now are missing a huge point - there are some killer players out there that are absolute beasts.

Have you ever played against Zubat (are we allowed to mention people by name?)? I’ve been steamrolled by him with every killer in the game, including old Fredster when he was F- tier. The scary thing is, there’s a bunch of other killers out just as good as he is. You just haven’t heard of them.

When people talk about Nurse or Spirit or mega-slow Fredster being oppressive, sometimes we’re not talking about a rank 10 player (not that there’s anything wrong with that!); we’re talking about the best killer players the game has to offer.
