Halloween event
Thank u devs for the update and finally telling us what the issues were but I feel like and I only speak for myself that if the Halloween event can’t be dropped before or on Halloween that it just needs to be cancelled because I don’t want to and won’t play a Halloween event after Halloween itself is passed , I am in Christmas mode at that point . I don’t know why we can’t have a blood hunt for the time being until the mid chapter update is ready for release and that just be the Halloween event so that we atleast get to do something instead of just wait and see .

They could have at least gave us a blood hunt over the weekend. This just feels super disappointing to be honest. I would be very shocked if we get the update next week. My guess is November 5th

Yes I feel like November 5th is when it will drop and it will end 1 week before thanksgiving . It hasn’t even been sent for certification yet .

The certification piece is the part that worries me. I wonder if they'll have people working on it over this weekend, but presumably not.

Lol. Who's ready for a Scary Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner with Huntress and Trapper?
Come through Thanksgiving the true scary holiday!

I doubt it will be worked on this weekend. Yes the certification process is another entity all in itself isn’t it . If it doesn’t pass it gets delayed for that .

If it drops late or is supper buggy (as all patches are) once released Blight isn't really going to be a Halloween event and I'm kind of mad that essentially now there's no Halloween event at all. It's ridiculous considering the game genre/time of year/PR opportunities/dedicated fanbase and the rarity of holiday events in general. It just looks and feels sloppy.
Stable, recurring holiday events are one of the easiest ways to entertain the community while bigger things are worked on. Blight should never have been so wrapped up in the mid chapter to begin with.
I'm rooting for them but its still all so disappointing.
