i equate running around in circles to be on par with staring at a survivor on a hook.  either experience is depressing as it means that is the best i can do with my recreational time.

If all you care about is winning, sure. All Looping does is change an non consistent outcome into a much more consistent outcome. You’re no longer relying on your own skill, your relying on the game mechanics to do the work for you. I find it boring personally.

Its all about remembering the loops that you dont run into walls when looking behind, everything else is just a matter of running circles and remembering which pallets have been droped already

Well when I start to loop I tend to sing a song and it goes a little like this (ahem):

I just want you to tunnel me!
So I can loop you eternally!
Ain’t got no tears left to cry!
    so I’m looping it up!
    im looping it up!

for those that don’t know it’s a rendition of tears left to cry by Ariana grande (go ahead and judge me) now granted I don’t have the vocals but eh what can you say

    From a toxic camper:

If you manage to disappear after a hit like the two who have pulled it off in front of my eyes then you will get a free pass to do whatever you want up to and including getting out. I have that much respect for people who can pull this off.

What i mean is i find you, chase you and hit you and in the time it takes me to turn around to where you were, you are gone. Poof. Into thin air. Gone. Not behind me. Not under my FOV. Gone. Like magic. That is truly magical. In 1500 hours two people have done this to me and i remember, still, who they were i was that impressed. One was a green bill on Groaning Storehouse, the other a bright red pizza dwight with a flashlight on the same map.

Two cases of magic. There was next to nothing for them to hide behind. Just a few pallets that i checked after making sure they were not hiding under FOV or behind me.

More of this please and less running in circles. Being made to run in circles was one of my main gripes about this game and one of the reasons i stopped a month ago.

I try my best to do this. It’s so damn hard to pull off though.like so hard. Timing and placement have to be perfect.
