Why are some Survivors really loud when crouched in a still position and some not?
Playing Steve while injured and crouching still...he still makes so much noise.
Maybe the reason why people think Steves are targeted by the killer is because they can probably hear him a mile away.
Trying to get Adept Steve but my luck is so bad, now I'm here ranting about what has killed me practically everytime.

Some survivors are quieter than others. It's one of their only distinguishing qualities. That's one reason that a lot of people main Ace and Kate, because they are generally considered the quietest survivors of both sexes. Otzdarva did a pretty informative comparison of different survivor sounds on YouTube a few months ago, where you can clearly hear the differences in volume (although Steve and Nancy aren't included, since they came out after the video was published).

Jeff best stealth survivor.

I mean I know the volume of Survivors in pain is different, I just don't really understand how that makes any sense in terms of Survivor validity and balance.

Survivor cries of pain are supposed to be the same volume crouched or standing. I say supposed to because this is DBD and we all know that intended isn't always reality.

I use Jane and I basically have to use Iron Will otherwise she's super loud lol

Did you know that No Mither tier 3 and ironwill tier 1 stack?
The only way to play Jeff for me :)

Play Ace or Tapp. They're quiet. At least not as loud as Bill or Jeff.

If you think Steve is loud you should try Feng or Bill. I have to use Iron Will on those two or I get a migraine from the loud moaning/grunting....

After hearing Jane's pained moaning, I have a hard time believing she was a television show host instead of a porn star.
