Finding Claudettes/immersed peeps
Hi! Im sorta new to the forums but not to the game. I have 400+ hours and am okish. Rank 9 killer rank 8 survivor. One of my issues is that i cant find claudettes. Ever. They always hide and i dont know if im blind or what but they always get away and it annoys me. One time i got a full team of immersed people on Yamaoka estate and i had such a hard time finding them. I got angry and accused them of taking the game hostage (Which is wrong. I needed to keep my emotions in check. I understand that assumption was incorrect and i feel bad). Basically what im trying to ask is. How the hell do i find the immersed people?

You can hear breathing. If you hit them once they can't hide from you. Also if you play survivor you should be able to expect where they'd be hiding if they were immersed. A lot of immersed Claudettes will hide in corners that will try to blend, but they don't blend like they used to so they're still visible in most occasions. Yamaoka Estate is a whole different beast though because it has crap pallets but better hiding spots. A Jake or Claudette with brown clothes can hide in the bushes and be nearly invisible because the colors almost match. However like I said, if you hit them once, it's impossible to hide from the killer, unless they have Iron Will and you don't have Stridor.

I just make the game brighter from Nvidia Freestyle. Would definitely recommend if you play on PC with a nvidia graphics card. You can also use reshade if you don't have a nvidia gpu.
If you are on console, increase the brightness from your tv settings I guess?

If you mean finding p3 claudette blending in darker corners, this goes from easy to nearly impossible without checking very much (like in the shadowy zones of McMillan's), all you can do beside watch carefully is raising the gamma of your screen. If you mean finding survivor who touch the gen, then hide like rats, and you're in that awful situation as killer, when you know they're there, but you really can't waste time, then really nothing you can do, if they hide well, search somewhere else.

I hate that i have to just kick it and wander off and then almost immediatly they touch it. I use survailence so thats one of the reasons. Claudettes in general are annoying when all they do is hide.
I will be sure to check that out. I can try raising gamma.
I play survivor but like getting chased so i dont really hide as much as i should. Sometimes i lose them if they have dance with me, quick n quiet, iron will etc.
