maybe now the devs can see that gens go to fast with ruin nerf but I’ll just main survivor when it goes live

You can't generalize, red rank killer, xbox, trapper main, I'VE NEVER USED RUIN OR NOED TO GET A 3K+ GAME
Maybe I'm one of the few, but I do not believe gens are done "too fast".
Edit: If I didn't get a 3k+ it's cause of 4 things:
- I got stubborn on the looper instead of letting go and going for the genners who can't loop S
- I got to play on a really difficult map for my killer, which means 2 out of them all
- I wasn't using headphones
- My dog wouldn't shut up the whole game

This is a bot excuse, and doesn't remedy the fact that killers without map pressure ability (aka mobility like Trapper and Myers) can not apply pressure on large maps (Mother's Dwelling etc).

Mmmmhm. Huge maps with non mobile killers. I play Billy, Freddy and Nurse without Ruin, because they have high mobility and therefore you can apply gen pressure on large maps. Myers? or Huntress? at the beginning of a round? Without ruin on those two especially you're looking at a minimum of 1 gen being done before you can even get to the other side of the map because of their speed.

Why do you even use old ruin? It only works against bad survivors and you need that perk slot against good ones. Use Corrupt and Whispers.
Oh and 4-5 minutes is pretty standard time when survivors use brain. Everyone on separate gens, while you find and chase one guy it takes less than 80s for 3 gend to pop.

He obviously has different experiences with gen times. They don't seem to go to fast for him.
I believe gen times, at least with the current map designs, are a bit of a problem, but I won't take this as a fact. Perhaps I'm just not good enough at this game.

I don't use ruin on any killer and the only killer that I struggle to get kills with is trapper. When I play him it seems to boil down if I get lucky enough to snowball, otherwise, I am just hooking everyone at least once, generally twice, but at least 3 to 4 get out.
No other killer do I struggle to get kills on in red ranks.

There two completely different things when survivors die it’s on the most of the time but let’s say you play a killer like trapper on the plagues map against swf all toolbox’s no ruin your probably going to lose unless there all potato’s

You're supposed to lose that match unless you bring a mori or they are potato's.
Your basically saying why can't I win in a car race when I am driving a unicycle. Sadly the game is going to put you in matches that are going to be near impossible to win. It happens.
The problem here is your talking the 1 outta 5, 1 outta 7 matches. You don't need to win every single match, your going to lose a few, its just how games work. And if you are being paired with a 4 man SWF team with toolboxes every single match, while than BHVR hates you, go find another game.
I spend near to 20-40 hours a week as killer and I only get matches like that about 1 outta 7.

Not really two different things there both very rare occurrences in that sense. I'd say I kill all survivors quickly way more often than I get gen rushed quickly and I play Ghostface also with no ruin. The only problem in this game is the size of many maps if they get reduced then Gens won't be such an issue.

Not that I'm a great killer or anything, but I find ruin useless to begin with honestly. 9/10 times a survivor spawns next to it and it gets destroyed within the first few minutes of the game and becomes a wasted perk slot. So I had already stopped using it altogether.
I play red rank survivor and ruin still gets destroyed really quickly. The only real difference in high ranks is that it's not prioritized to get found. People will generally try to power through it if someone doesn't spawn on it. But there are still killers at red ranks that will wipe the floor with us without ruin too.
I honestly think the change to ruin will be healthy and allow killers to expand their builds in new ways.

I mean for gens to be done in their charges time you probably are a terrible killer. (Unless you are exagerating)

For the gens to pop in 4 minutes it means you havent patrolled them once, since it is the minimum amount of time

It's amazing how much complaining there is when you consider that killers are still much stronger than survivors at most levels. New killers dominate new survivors. Survivor is easy to master since they all play the same, but once you've mastered a killer, you have to go out of your way to make it a competitive/fun game.
If you can't do well without ruin, you're not a good killer. Practice. Gen speed is not the problem. If gens were any slower, killers would always win. A better change would be to tone down survivor run speed a tad, but even that's not necessary.
If the gens are gone in 4 minutes, it means you had a bad game. This isn't something that's happening every game.

Unless you get a streak of good survivors and one of the survivor sided maps(so most of them).
Survivors used to derank and end the game with around 8-9 k points if they hardcore genrushed. Now they go out with around 15k so profit.

I already have. I've noticed a lot of killers aren't using Ruin as much since it's getting gutted soon (on Xbox). I've escaped almost every single game because of gen rush. My team and I popped 3 gens at once last night and the killer gave up afterwards. I'm rank 3 survivor right now (was rank 1 before reset).

Consistently? Not really.
But I know not to play killer on the evening during the weekends as the sweatiest teams come out at the time.
You know, these 4 man swfs that are definetely randoms and all run DS+unbreakable combo with toolboxes.
Game don't last 4-5 minutes but probably around 6 or 7 but it's still a losing battle where you need to have them make some mistakes to snowball of.

I think this is gonna separate the good killers from the bad killers. I’m a bad killer so I really on ruin (but also don’t think it needs this nerf as a survivor main.) But in red rank ruin gets taken out really fast a lot and killers don’t have a problem getting the 4K. So idk!

Gohstface is fairly mobile, he is my main. ruin is nice but not necessary, sometimes you want survivors to get fast gens. On a big map what I do it pick 3 or 4 gens and patrol them I know I'm not going to be able to patrol the whole map but I can guard tbis small area. Now that all the gens that are really far away are done you have to come to me and these are all spitting distances apart. Let the my fun begin.

Ruin is a terrible perk. It's rare for Ruin to be up long enough for the killer to even get a single down in the games I play on PS4.
This is the best thing for killers. Imagine having 4 perks active all game instead of down a perk after a couple minutes.
Not to say Ruin can't be amazing against lower level Survivors, but then those Survivors are also having a hard time getting to learn the game.
Side note: Had a game last night and we got all 4 gens down with Ruin up, and the killer only got 1 kill. It bought him more time, but that wasn't enough.

in red ranks gens are done in 3 -4 min, usually ill try to use NOED sometimes works

Y los desarrolladores van a nerfear la ruina porque según dicen esta muy ROTA, para los baby survivors que recien empiezan el juego, vaya solución, con esto van a empeorar el juego para los killers y aumentar el GEN RUSH.
Que los nuevos survivors aprendan a jugar así como todos los demás, no hay de dejarles las cosas fáciles.
