Toxic Survivors
The survivors have been really toxic tonight. I don't use any tunneling or camping methods that would really be triggering yet they're all salty in the post game chat. It's kind of funny seeing rank 19 or 20 survivors complain about how awful their team was and then tell you that you didn't earn the win. Anyone else have some good salty survivor stories they want to share?

This is a big reason why i laugh at killers who try to "play nice." Play how you want and then you won't care when they get toxic cause you'll expect it

I had a potato team that was so laughably bad, they were running into me instead of away. Chill game, slaughterfest. No tunneling, no slugging, or camping.

I'll counter yours with mine from last night. Was gen rushed to the max, popped in a little over five minutes on the Wretched Shop. Some pretty good loopers, though they did keep gunning for the infinite. Finally got one in the basement, and he wasn't happy. It's not shown, but he was using the N word before hand.
On a side note, when are we nerfing those meta survivor perks? They're used in 80% of the games, which is a basis used by the devs, right? /s

@Rivyn It always wonders me how so many people can get this amount of death threats in the after-game chat.
I don't think that this is always only the first or second time that these players write stuff like that. They must have been reported countless times.

I don't really like infectious fright on plague without running an apple as well, because even if everyone is still injured, really good survivors are going to make you fight for an M1 hit, and you won't be able to chain slug them without your power up.
She is also not very mobile, so BBQ is a waste for the most part unless you want points. I would get pop into your build, so that they have to keep working through the 16% thanta slow multiple times. I usually do bamboozle + corrupt + thanta + pop on her.

I get people telling me to kill myself every now and then. Ironically, they usually killed themselves on hook, so I make sure to point that out to them.

O, I know. I've been playing Trapper recently, needed the break, so I've been toying around with builds on Plague. Saw some streamers using IF, thought I'd give it a shot. I agree with you, I tried it for three games, doesn't fit. I actually hadn't thought about her mobility with BBQ. . . you have a point there. I just like knowing where everybody is, but still. I'm thinking of adding Blood Echo (if it ever comes up in the web!) as a replacement.
Still, back to the OP, I think the growing trend of toxicity is the lack of Ruin. A lot of killers are dropping it in favor of other builds, just so we're in the practice when the actual change drops. It makes survivors overconfident when they don't see that curse mark. When you do get around to spanking them, or they spank you, let the sore winner/loser fest begin.

Is this a bad thing? I actually enjoy it. I love knowing I pissed them off. Same when I'm a toxic survivor and the killer is complaining. I read it, smile, and throw out a GGEZ before bouncing.

I don't even care about it at all. I've heard literally everything before. From people wishing death on my family, to my parents not loving me, to hoping I get killed before new years, etc etc.
Some of the better ones are people calling me bad when they literally got 2 tapped by a 110 killer like hag. Or people calling me a camper when they are trying to exploit under the hook, to which my response is to stand there until the guy on the hook hits half, or they give up and I can smack them.
I had some billy earlier complaining I would sprint burst away to safe buildings every time he found me, instead of getting sawed in dead zones. "Jake you coward!"
Those are always funnier to me than just pure salt.

@Apple2o Not caring about what these players write is definitely the right thing to do. But I think one should also report these players.
Somebody else might take this stuff more seriously and feel bad about receiving those messages. And in the end, we don't need people who send death threats in this community.

The best survivors are those, that really heal always against a legion, wasting so much time with it and get stabbed soon after again xd That's fine with me, when i play legion, but terrible if i play survivor.

I mean it's pretty standard for any online game. I think it's a lot worse in the FPS communities than here, which is why I don't care about it at all.

Remember you need to report them in the scoreboard, and then go in and report them through the ticket system. one will not do it much but the second gets people's attention especially the Real Life Threat given in these.
