MY RECORD: 2 HOURS OF WAITING
Well, last 2 months I couldn't get into the lobby quickly, I waited 20/30/40 minutes
and today I set my personal record: 2 FREAKING HOURS! THANK U DEVS TEAM!
Don't you think you should fix that kind of issues 1st?!

A friend of mine is a rank 17 killer on PC. They were trying to get better at Nurse, but barely got in any games, because queuing times are 10-15 minutes. Half of the matches got cancelled, because reasons. They are a survivor-main now.

Why the complete lack of details here? What platform, what time of day, killer or survivor, did you ever try canceling the search or closing the app and trying again or did you stare at the same screen for 2 hours?

2 hours sounds way too long. I dont think that it was really searching for a Lobby, I had this problem a few months ago, where it said it was searching, but did not do that. When cancelling the search and starting it again, it worked.

This sounds like a bug then. You should get a game as killer pretty quickly, and it would maybe take 5-10 minutes when you try surv. When it lasts significantly longer, cancel the search and start a new one.

Yes, that sounds like a bug. I am in EU, rank 1-5 for both sides. Killer is near instant lobby, survivor takes 1-3 minutes. If you wait 2 hours, that 100% a bug, unless you are rank 20 killer that plays at night.

Finally someone else besides me!!
For me this was actually some kind of bug/glitch that came with the last update, and it has since then maybe fixed itself I think..
The only way I could ever get matchmaking to work is if I went ahead and did "Verify Integrity of Game Files" under Local Files in Steam. Otherwise matchmaking never took me into any lobbies.

On PC for survivor matches in the middle of nowhere Canada I rarely wait longer than 1-2 minutes no matter what time of day or night, it is usually faster so anytime it takes longer than 1-2 minutes I hit "Cancel" to see if it makes the noise but still says "Looking for match.." and when that happens I know it's bugged and I restart game, if the "Looking for match.." goes away with the noise and the ready button is there I hit it again.
Happens once or twice every ten searches.
