Killers have stopped using Ruin. As a survivor, I am having a lot more fun
I escape most of the time now. The killers get a few hooks and are usually a lower level than me. While I admit I am having fun as a survivor, I highly doubt the people playing killer are having any fun. Wonder how much longer people will deal with games that fly by and continue to play killer.

Killers like that won't get to the red ranks though. So games are going to be way more entertaining there.

Games at red ranks are going to be boring AF... gonna be prolly spirit or Billy only because others are to weak without ruin. And if it's not them 5 gens pop in 3 minutes and game over.. no one pips or makes points. :(

Huntress, Pig, Spirit, Nurse, Billy, occasional Myers. That's actually perfect. I don't want to play against Doctors, Trappers, Hags and Cannibals. And I won't. :3

I would rather see the full roster at red ranks.

For some reason it takes up to 30 minutes to find a game on 15-20 ranks as a killer, I'm not exactly sure why, but when I returned to the game it was really painful. So I guess that's all devs can do, to solve this - push low ranks to higher ones.

I actually do, but that's not the case. The reason is that it would be way more difficult for them to get to the red ranks without Ruin. So I won't because there won't be any :3

Gatekeeper will tier up easier so more killers will be at high ranks. Queue times could go either way imo.

I'm pretty sure suiciding on hook and dcing are reportable offenses.

If you disconnect from the match it is a reportable offense. Suiciding on hook is not a reportable offense

If you ask survivors in my recent Spirit games I doubt they would say the same thing. I don't use Ruin. I use Sloppy/Thana/Dying Light. I've been called a try hard and got hate mail from multiple survivors already. Guess they don't like getting bodied by a killer with no Ruin.

Definitely agree with you there. Just had a game as killer where a Claudette got down near my hex totem and then out of nowhere she DCed...like why? Especially when survivor queue times being the way they are right now. Plus you're screwing the rest of your team by doing that.

Imagine having access to DS, DH, BT, Adre, all of which are literally 4 crutch perks, and calling killer try hards for using a perk that is a bandaid fix to an unbalanced mechanic.. these survivors.
No worry buddy, soon you won't have to hit that terribly difficult "skill" check anymore.
Maybe next patch they will make it so you just hold down the Sprint to automatically loop the killer.

I didn't call them tryhards just for using ruin. They also bust out expensive add ons and tunnel the weakest link as much as possible. One perk a tryhard does not make.

Suiciding isn't but you don't have to report a DC. The system will ban the player if they have a lot of DCs racked up.

No point chasing good survivors into terrible unbalanced loops just to loose 2-3 gens.
And now they're not allowed to use add-ons? Dude ffs, do you even know how add dependent some killers are?

Imagine having access to Slowdown perks, Exhaustion add ons, Spirit Fury + Enduring, PGTW + Ruin + Thana + Dying Light and calling survivors tryhards for using the ONLY viable perks against red rank killers.

i think alot of killers will quit the game this year if nothing is changed soon. the generators can be completed way too fast if the survivors just focus it without ruin. alot of similar games coming out this year and i hope they do something before the killers stop playing.

The March update will be interesting. That'll be the patch competing with Resident Evil 3 remakes 4v1 mode RE Resistance.
Predator 4v1 also releases soon after that.
Hopefully the devs can come up with an awesome Chapter 15 to show they'll always be king of this 4v1 horror genre :p

Predator: Hunting Grounds is the full title it's from the developers of F13 The Game and published by Sony.
Since its a Sony game its only on PS4 and PC.

you realize as survivor you absolutely dont need any perks right ? ruin is gonna be dead, dying light is realy trash perk, thano is ok but you need to wound survivors, pop you need to hook people, spirit fury + enduring ? ok good combo but from ONLY 4 perks available it takes 2 perks, and its not so insane combo so its like meme combo, but nothing meta..
what can survivors do with those clutch perks ? oh nothing you just hit skill check and you are good.. please think.. or do you really think that DS is a not toxic perk now ? I mean come one 60 secs be totally Invurnerable or take DS is ok ? head on same crap..
as killer you cant do anything against adrenaline, BT, DS, head on etc etc. see the point ? its like throwing beans against the wall .. awating heavily toxic response.. pleae wake up and dont make survivor game even easier.. now survivor is really braindead plays everyone knows it so please wake up :)

Yeah I enjoy these type of games, the only problem I notice is the fact gens are done way too quick to even get points. And I'm also seeing underrated perks! So its rather unique again!

There will be a lot of Nurse and Freddy too I think (at least the fun Freddy players who don't use Ruin or rely on pop and swing chains will still be playing him, because Freddy doesn't need Ruin at all)

No, I can escape but I can't even ######### pip anymore, Im forced to stay into the game to farm points to pip, and btw I was able to escape before too.

Half of the killer perks won't work together or force an object of obsession which is a blessing. Since there's no real red rank killers anymore they will mess up stacks or waste their slowdown mechanics as they get gen rushed. Since the only killers we will face will be rank 20 baby killers they will DC and quit anyway and never play again. As a survivor why would you ever play killer outside of dailies? It's extremely "unfun" and almost cringey like Scooby Doo to be honest. So you see killers moonwalking or walking around with their faces staring at their feet. It is unenjoyable to play as the killer.

I play killer at red ranks and do just fine.
I main Freddy, Oni and Clown.
I use DL on em all and do well.
My build on em all atm is

BBQ
Pop
Corrupt.
Oh and I have more fun playing killer than survivor thank you.

Yeah. Survivors have more fun, while killers get shafted. This, in addition to the braindead change to rank reset a while ago, will pile up bad survivors at high ranks, while continuing to penalize killers.
I've said it before and will say it again: DbD devs are some of the most horribly incompetent developers I've ever encountered. They don't know how to balance and don't play their own game at a high level. This game will die eventually, bar a major overhaul in how things get done, due to dev incompetence.

You also can 4k every game with no ruin.
And you also don't camp, or slug, cause you are a good survivors' boy, you follow their precious made up rule book.
Let's see, what else.. ah, you also don't play Nurse, Freddy or Spirit.
You can also 4k with clown against a totally balanced SWF, on Temple of purgation.

I don't understand the point you are trying to make? Ruin has barely affected my win/loss rate since game's release. Its a crutch perk, and it may be easy now, but I wager killers will learn better map control and overall grow from this. I still think killers could apply more pressure if the map size was reduced a smidge.

And then there is me, playing vs Freddy with Paint Brush, Jump Rope, Ruin, Thanatophobia, PGTW and Basement Camping.
I like that some people try different Builds without Ruin. Of course they all most be gods when they win, because there is no other way they can win without such a strong and important Perk like Ruin. /s

On console, I can't really play survivor anymore. Wait time is 99% of the time around 10 minutes. So I either play killer exclusively now on console, or I just shut the game off. You have a problem with your game if people are shutting it off before they can even play a match.
