Huntress is S+ tier,prove me wrong.
So,after the rank reset,I decided to constantly play huntress. I don't have iron maiden,so I chose to go with this build;
Bitter murmur,bq,ruin and lullaby. The ruin lullaby combo is and will continue to be insane,just like bq and bitter murmur.
I'm a fan of iri head,it is crazy strong and I love it with lvl 3 belt,they have the best synergy in the game imo.
Huntress belongs to s+ tier,since her range and looping is incredible and her map presence is unrivaled. I love her playstile and gameplay,perfect in my book.
Lately,I chose to go the "DEATH huntress build"
I bring iri head with a belt and a Mori. The game ends in 5 minutes and I always get flamed in post chat,hilariously funny imo.
A good huntress without add-ons and perks can easily dominate the survivor team.

I'm dominating as Clown in red ranks without ruin therefore clown is S tier. Totally not because red ranks is flooded with potatoes and the only survivors you can complain about is SWF because these guys are the only one playing like their actual rank.

When your norm for playing the character is using Iri heads and ebony moris...yeah, its strong. Id recommend ya try using other addons and a normal offering to see what your results are.

No, she is not S tier, but definitly very powerful. Still, Billy, Nurse and Spirit are even better.
Her main problem is mobility, so even the Huntress is very skilled, she skill can get genrushed by a decent team.

Doesnt help that shes very map dependent. Alot of maps have either WAY too much stuff getting in the way of long distance shots, or loops that have debris JUST tall enough to not be able to throw a hatchet over but still plenty short enough to be able to clearly see a Huntress so she cant do any cheeky mindgaming.

It's not the norm. I just decided to use this build for 2/3 games. I don't have enough Ebony's and iri heads XD.
I usually go with more hatchets :3

She's A+ in the right hands, I'd say. Her problem is mobility. She has issues putting pressure on gens because she has that slow move speed. If you can get hatchets in people, then you can apply more pressure, but there are a lot of good survivors who can dodge them thus extending a chase.
Hitboxes are all over the place as well, so right now I'd say she is B Tier. Hopefully if they push the dedicated updates from the PTB she will get a lot better and go back to dominating a bit more.
Any Killer you want to rank should be based on their basekit, never add-ons. Most Killers are add-on dependent to avoid getting run over, but that is also dependent on the player's skill level with that Killer. I've played against perma T3 Myers that got run over because they were trash in chases. I've also played against Perkless, Add-onless Clowns that completely wrecked the team because they were just that good.

anyone who plays huntress knows she’s C-B tier at best, her speed is extremely limiting
the giant maps, constant clutter and janky hit boxes that go both ways make her the definition of unreliable

I love doctor and trapper and I agree with the huntresses lack of mobility,but if you play right she is crazy strong. Even tho my favorite build is op,if I don't want to be "toxic" I just get more hatchets. It's so good to not having to reload after a hook because you still have 5 hatchets I love it!!!

Why do you all keep mentioning add-ons?! I literally said in a comment that this is just my favorite build,I don't use iri often!!!!
Tho she is S tier in my book,but very map dependent. I still dominate in lerys,which I love playing as huntress because survivors will keep vaulting windows leaving them vulnerable it is excellent. I play well in all maps now that I think about it since with huntress you have plenty of room to adapt.

her looping is horrible if you are against survivors who have a brain, and her map pressure is hot garbage unless you get a small map and/or a map with good RNG
Compare her to Spirit who has power that gives high mobility and makes chases extremely short, its no contest
C-B Tier, I play Red Rank every reset, she is extremely luck based

That’s the same as “hey we are 4 man rank 1 sweaty swf with 3 commodious toolboxes with brand new part and 1 red key, and we brought coldwind farm map offering. I am a mediocre huntress and in most cases the chase ends really quickly. I'm not a rank 20 tho. Last season I ended in rank 7,so you cannot say I'm a noobie :3
I mentioned map presence because of her hatches. I hit A LOT of people after I finish hooking someone and bq reveals them. Other than that,true and I agree with u :3

Look, if you judge a killer’s power based on the most known broken add-on and offering combos in this game, no one would care. I main huntress and I have 700 hrs on her. I’m both rank 1 survivor and rank 1 killer. Let me tell you about huntress boy.
A killer’s tier should be based on no add-one, no mori, any map. Any killer with a ebony mori is a fking S+ tier, that thing has no counter. About map, you mentioned Lery’s. Guess what, that map is killer sided. Yes you can’t use much of her power on that map, but that map is small so you patrol gens faster. The worst map for huntress is the coldwind farm “Fractured Cowshed”. In this map, these’s not a single jungle gym you can throw your hatchet over and there are so many pallets and the map is so big. So if you face 4 actually good survivors on this map, you will get annihilated.
Overall, she is an A tier killer. The best Nurse and the best Billy are S+ tiers. And your build is stupid. Bitter murmur is perk rewards you when you play badly which is when you lose gens. You can run whispers to find the first survivor fast. You can run nurses to get some overhead shots. You can run discordance to prioritize. Bitter murmur is just a B tier perk.
Then Hex: lullaby. This ######### works nothing with Ruin. Good survivors find your totems very fast. 40 seconds into the game. Boom, you just lost two perks. Now you are playing with 2 perks only. Don’t even argue with me. It is commonly agreed that lullaby is a trash perk and Ruin is about to be reworked anyway. Lullaby does nothing before mid to late game. And guess what, hex perk doesnt last into late game against experienced survivors.
So learn more about this game boy.

Considering what you said your opinion is on Iri head I'm going to go ahead and say that you know absolutely nothing about Huntress.
She's slow, she has a lot of bad maps, it's difficult to play against good survivors and if they are good you can easily lose the game from 1 bad mistake or extended chase at a difficult loop.
She's not S tier, not even close. You sound like someone playing against bad players and you just picked Huntress up with perks that don't even benefit her lol what? I'm going to assume you're just trolling but I figured I'd write something out.

They do. Reaaaaaaally fast. But I still get much time with them cleansing. Tho,I can say I'm mediocre and I can obviously say I'm a new huntress (since I started playing her about a month before and started making her on the 13) I see so much value. It took me some time to get used to her slooooooooooooooooow ms,but I got used to it. My build isn't great since I lack some perks,but it could be worst. As for the add-ons that everyone argues with me about,I use them for fun. First 30 games I was add-on less,and dominated in at least half of them. Moral of my story,a good huntress always find the way :3

I don't "troll" since I have a different opinion from the majority. I've been called a troll at least 3 times in my 2 months of being in the website because of my disagreements with the majority of the dbd community. I believe that huntress is s tier,because if played right, she dominates. Add-ons or not,she is goddamn strong.
Are there stronger killers? Yes. Spirit is hella stronger,nurse,Billy and oni are also powerful,but none of them have the range that can instantly injure a survivor because they threw a pallet. If you are good and if the dedicated servers are in your side,you can't lose. There is a streamer which I don't remember his name rn,that only plays addonless huntress and ducking dominates without hesitation because huntress is s tier. You are free to argue,but if you call me a "troll" you are insulting me and my ego,which will not go unnoticed? I hope I am understood and I hope my comment doesn't show the big extend of how angry and insulted I am from you,but I will keep the conversation civil.

She is unplayeable when you reach red ranks, except with iri head. Any decent looper completely cuts her off and you will not hit anyone

I can bring Black Incense and an ebony mori and run the “Forever Plague” build and dominate but it doesn’t mean Plague is S+ tier.
Running a killers strongest add-ons with an ebony mori doesn’t make the killer top tier.
Huntress is really good but I believe she is top of B tier. Just shy of top tier.

Apart from the IH + IB combo (which is broken, imo), part of her current strenght is due to the broken hitboxes that allow to hit survivors behind corners and obstacles.

There is such a small percentage of players that have even crossed the threshold of R5, let alone the Red Ranks.
I'm convinced the player base has such a high skill divide on both killer and survivor, Tier lists are pretty much irrelevant outside of those groups that routinely participate in competitive tournaments.

Same with Umbra, she sit's in Red Ranks running Huntress (among other Killers), without even needing Add On's and with Shadowborn of all perks.

Shadowborn on Huntress is very strong. She throws projectiles and it gives you a higher FOV.
Also - Umbra also uses a crosshair. I'm not saying it makes her bad, but it does muddy her credibility a bit as a supposed "god tier" Huntress.
The ones out there that don't use a crosshair and do that well, and yes they do exist, those are the ones who deserve most of the applause.
