Ranking up/Piping system re-work
The ranking system needs to be reworked. We shouldn’t be de-pipped when we come across killers that camp and tunnel survivors. It’s so easy to de-pip when you hardly get to do anything in the game and it is infuriating. It’s also really dumb when you get a zero or sometimes negative when you avoid the killer for most of the game and you manage to escape and you can easily get a bronze or silver under the Evasion category.
Same can be said for Killers. For example in the Sacrifice category: You can be docked points because you stayed in proximity of the hooked survivor, but is it really the killer’s fault if they end up in sight of the another survivor to chase that’s in close proximity to the hooked survivor?

I think they first need to revert matchmaking for swf to scale with the average rank of the group but a bit higher scaling so every game isn't a red rank killer vs a bunch of grays and greens with the one red rank survivor. Revert rank reset entirely cause it's just watering red ranks even more and then make survivor pipping harder it feels too easy to me. Make every individual killer have a seperate rank from each other too, if i never played nurse and I got to red ranks with Myers or something I can't really learn to play nurse when the gens are gonna fly by so fast i can't learn anything lol.
Btw you don't get punished by the emblem system if you are chasing a survivor near a hooked one cause the survivor being chased has control of where the chase goes.

I think they have to improve the searches for most players to be in the same or around the same rank. I’ve been seeing plenty of times where I’m playing as a survivor and many of us are red ranks and then then maybe one yellow rank, and the most average killer I been seeing have been between 9-12 and a few fall into our red ranks.
I can agree with each killer having their own separate ranks even though the same can be said for survivors since you’d build up a lot of blood points and rank up your character and just go on from there and just start playing and just learn as you go. Then you got the applying teachable perks to your other characters.
