Bro, this is normal time even with ruin on any of craply designed and generated maps. Decent survivors just work through it not wasting time looking for totem. But most survivors arent too bright and they keep looking for totem.
1 person gets chased, 3 other work on gens. 80s and 3 pop. How many times you run killer for longer due to crap map like Haddonfield, Fractured Cowshed or Crotus Prenn? Way to many times. Possibility of taking balanced landing with offering for Red Forest, Crotus Prenn, Haddonfield or Game aint helping.

A killer got genrushed using only one perk, getting looped to infinity by a player with 3 years of experience! who would have thought?

devs need to see this and realize why so many people use ruin. idk, maybe cause of the only objective in the game is fixing the generators which are usually done in such a short time? just a wild guess

They know why, they just don’t care enough about killer players to actually fix it.

All killers should just run slugging or end game builds after the patch hits. Problem solved.

This. Also, the "reason" Ruin was nerfed was because they thought it would be too hard for new survivor players. What about new killer players having to deal with this terrible matchmaking and genrushing?

I suspect this had less to do with the fact that he wasn't running Ruin, and more to do with the fact that he had one mediocre perk and, more importantly, was clearly very inexperienced with the killer he was using (he admitted as much after the game).
